Hwang out on camera it seemsCanaries striker Hwang Ui Jo has been questioned by police in South Korea following allegations he illegally filmed sexual encounters with women.
He was questioned by cybercrime officers in Souel at the weekend. He strongly denies all charges and has brought a counter-claim for defamation and blackmail against his accuser, who claims to be a former partner of Hwang's.
Hwang claims the footage was taken with the woman's consent and that he later lost the phone whilst playing in Greece with Olympiacos.
Thanks for these updates, Sammy.Hwang Ui-Jo (or Hwang Bang Thank you Mam as he's now known on the Pink Un Forum) slotted home Norwich City's winner in their 1-0 victory against QPR at the weekend. I wouldn't go as far as to say he's popular, but he's certainly not facing the same amount of vitriol as he was earlier in the season. Norwich manager David Wagner paid tribute to him at the link below.

Jonjo Shelvey played the full 90 as Rizespor drew 0-0 with Antalyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig. He scooped a 7.3 rating.
Josh Bowler lasted for 72 minutes of Cardiff City 2-1 away victory against Preston North End. He got a 6.4 on Flashscore ratings.
Dale Taylor was substituted at half time as Wycombe Wanderers lost 2-1 at home to Reading in League One. Just a 5.8 rating for Dale, and according to Twitter (or X) he could have been sent off for a poor tackle.
A 5.7 rating for Loic Mbe Soh as Almere City lost 5-0 at home to Heracles in the Dutch Eredivisie. He did, however, play the full game.
Remo Freuler entered the fray after 55 minutes of Bologna's 2-0 home win over Torino in Italy's Serie A.
Alex Mighten came on after 76 minutes of Belgian Pro League side KV Kortrijk's 3-0 home defeat against KV Mechelen.

He's still only nineteen, though it feels like he's been around a lot longer. Not every teenage striker is Evan Ferguson. Thanks for these updates, Sammy.
I thought Dale Taylor was going to be the next success to emerge from the Academy, but he seems to be struggling.
The rest sound like they are probably not going to feature anytime soon at the city Ground.
and poor old Omar richards sounds like he ought to consider alternative, less physically demanding careers.
Just starts to hit form then bang, have an injury! You can take the player out of the Forest…Hwang Ui-Jo scored a thunderbolt of a goal against Watford before going off injured.

I've had the Barnsley Wycombe game on the tablet whilst watching Newcastle on TV. Dale Taylor was largely anonymous in a poor game. He didn't really show a great deal in the parts he did play. Got subbed off after 65 minsHe's still only nineteen, though it feels like he's been around a lot longer. Not every teenage striker is Evan Ferguson.
Though it remains to be seen whether Dale was just a big kid who was able to dominate age group sides with his strength, as is often the case with some young strikers who never really make first team level - likes of Westcarr for example.
Taylor will forge a decent career for himself, though I wouldn't back him to make it at the level we are at.
We actually need to stop this. It's far from sustainable. Brighton and Brentford sure don't spent £10m plus on each player they buy in.We're spending £10m+ on practically every player now, so it's no surprise that academy players won't reach those heights nor will the loans we purchased for a few bob whilst in the Championship.
Correct. We actually need to stop this. It's far from sustainable. Brighton and Brentford sure don't spent £10m plus on each player they buy in.
Agreed - if we stay at this level I think it's going to be the back end of that timescale if at all in terms of our next product. You can say that about every one from the academy and pretty much all the loans.

Be interesting to see in 5-10 years time if our academy output is improved.
