My apologies, it's been a couple of weeks so in some cases there are four games to catch up on.

Jonathan Panzo got onto the pitch for just over 34 minutes of Cardiff City's recent 1-0 home defeat to West Bromwich Albion in the Championship. He was an unused substitute in Cardiff's next two games, a 2-0 defeat away at Southampton and Saturday's 1-0 home win over Millwall.

In the above games, Josh Bowler played the full match against West Brom. He was substituted after 62 minutes against Southampton and lasted 70 in the Millwall tie. No goals or assists.

Hwang Ui-jo scored for Norwich City in the Canaries' recent 3-2 defeat against Watford in the Championship. Unfortunately, he went off injured after 17 minutes and subsequently missed Norwich's next two games, a 2-1 win at Bristol City and a 0-0 home draw with Preston North End this weekend. It's a shame, as he seemed to be running into a bit of form.

Oli Hammond was an unused substitute in Cheltenham Town's 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers at the weekend. It was progress of sorts as he'd been out of the squad for a number of weeks (pretty much since a new manager came in).

Dale Taylor played 68 minutes of Wycombe Wanderers recent 1-0 defeat at Barnsley in League One. He lasted 61 minutes of Wanderers' 2-0 FA Cup loss at home to Morecombe, but notched a brace in their 3-2 win against Fulham U-21 in the Football League Trophy. He was on the pitch for the first 55 minutes of Wycombe's 1-0 defeat at home to Shrewsbury on Saturday.

Aaron Donnelly grabbed an assist and played the full 90 when Dundee recently drew 3-3 with Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership. He played for 51 minutes of the Dens Park men's 3-1 defeat at Rangers on Saturday. The Dark Blues forum suggests he had a bad day at the office against the blue half of the Old Firm.

Loic Mbe Soh played the full game as Almere City recently lost 3-0 at Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie. He headed in from a corner in their 4-1 defeat at AZ Alkmaar this weekend. He got a 6.6 rating in the first game and a 6.4 in most recent tie.

Remo Freuler entered the fray after 58 minutes of Bologna's 1-1 draw at Lecce in Italy's Serie A last weekend. This weekend he played the full 90 in his side's 2-1 win at Salernitana, posting a 7.4 Flashscore rating.

Alex Mighten got the last 16 minutes as Belgian Pro League side KV Kortrijk drew 1-1 at Eupen last weekend. He started their 1-0 Cup defeat at home to RWDM, but was hooked after 60 minutes. He came on in the 90th minute of his side's 2-1 home loss against Westerlo on Friday.

Jonjo Shelvey played the full 90 and grabbed an assist in Rizespor's 3-2 win at home to Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Super Lig last weekend. He didn't play in this weekend's 4-0 win against Bucaspor 1928 in the Turkish Cup.

Injured
Lewis O'Brien (Middlesborough)
Fin Back (Carlisle United)
Gustavo Scarpa (Olympiacos)
Emmanuel Dennis (Istanbul Basaksehir)

Not Selected
Omar Richards (Olympiacos) - listed on Transfermarkt as not in the squad. He did recently feature in a B game, so have placed him in this section. A recent tweet from Nikos Kotsis does make it sound like his return is imminent...

No fixture
Richie Laryea (Vancouver Whitecaps)

Sammy the Clingan - Thanks for all this hard work, really interesting report back. A bit depressing through as none of these players look like they will ever be good enough to ever play for us.

Omar Richards finally made his debut for Olympiacos when he came on in the 86th minute of the Greek side's 5-2 win against TSC in the Europa League. He entered the fray after 90 minutes of our sister club's 1-0 win at Panserraikos in the Greek Super League, but was an unused sub in their most recent league game, a 0-0 at Atromitos.

Jonjo Shelvey scooped a 7.3 rating and played the full 90 in Rizespor's recent 1-1 away draw with Ankaragucu in the Turkish Super Lig. He was withdrawn after 61 minutes of their 5-1 thrashing of Pendikspor, notching a 6.4 rating. And he got a 6.9 rating in the Turkish side’s 2-2 draw at Kasimpasa on Christmas Day, again playing the full game. No goals or assists for Jonjo.

Remo Freuler played the full 90 in Bologna's 2-0 home win versus AS Roma in Italy's Serie A. He didn’t play in their 2-1 away win against Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia, but was restored to the starting line up for Bologna’s 1-0 home win against his former club, Atalanta. Remo grabbed 6.8 and 6.9 ratings for his performances.

Hwang Ui-jo’s injury kept him out of Norwich City’s 3-1 home win against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship, as well as their 2-2 draw at local rivals Ipswich Town. He entered the fray after 74 minutes of their recent 2-0 home win against our former adversaries Huddersfield Town and was also introduced as a substitute in the Canaries’ Boxing Day defeat to West Bromwich Albion, this time after 61 minutes.

Josh Bowler appears to have lost his starting spot in Cardiff City’s Championship side. He was introduced as a substitute in their 1-0 loss at home to Birmingham City earlier in the month (after 59 minutes), their 3-0 defat at Hull City (after 45 minutes), and for the Bluebirds’ Boxing Day draw with Plymouth Argyle (after 64 minutes). He started their 2-1 away win at Sheffield Wednesday on December 23, lasting 65 minutes. No goals or assists.

Dale Taylor wasn’t in the squad as Wycombe Wanderers grabbed a stoppage time equalizer against lowly League One Derby County earlier in the month. He came on after 71 minutes in their recent 1-1 draw at home to Port Vale and on the 73rd minute mark in their 1-0 away defeat at Exeter City on Boxing Day. No goals or assists for Dale.

Young Aaron Donnelly played the full game as Dundee won 1-0 at Ross County in the Scottish Premier League. He also played 90 minutes as the Dens Park men were put to the sword 3-0 at home to Celtic on Boxing Day.

Loic Mbe Soh came off at half time in Almere City’s recent 5-0 home win against Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie. Just a 6.4 rating for Loic in this one. He started their next game on the bench, joining the action in the 81st minute of a 2-1 league win at Katwijk.

Alex Mighten came on for the last 4 minutes of Belgian Pro League side KV Kortrijk’s recent 4-0 defeat at Gent. Alex joined the action after 62 minutes of his side’s 3-0 away drubbing at the hands of Cercle Brugge KSV, and was an unused sub in their Boxing Day 2-0 defeat at home to Gent.

Injured
Gustavo Scarpa (Olympiacos)
Lewis O'Brien (Middlesbrough)
Fin Back (Carlisle United)
Emmanuel Dennis (Istanbul Basaksehir)

Unused substitute
Jonathan Panzo (Cardiff City)
Oli Hammond (Cheltenham – the Robins had three games over this period. Hammond was an unused sub in two and didn’t make the squad for their 2-1 home defeat against Leyton Orient.)

No fixture
Richie Laryea (Vancouver Whitecaps)

is that our Lewis on the bench for boro tonight or another O’Brien?
would be good for him to get playing again so we can try and get some cash for him at some point!

At this rate, it may take half the time to do the round-ups!

Officially returning to Forest are:
Alex Mighten
Oli Hammond
Hwang Ui-jo

Scarpa and Shelvey have left permanently.

There are rumours surrounding Dennis and Laryea returning, and who knows what's going on with Freuler.

If these players can't make it at lower league clubs, then they aren't going to get anywhere close to the PL.

Laryea definitely coming back, MLS financial rules stopped Vancouver from signing him.
