Loanee Watch (sponsored by Sammy the Clingan)

I wasn't sure if he was transferred permanently or on loan. I hope it's permanent. The most recent article I could find said loan with an obligation, so I guess I could add him in.

I initially quite liked him, but by the end his inability to get around the pitch held us back.

Remo's started 3 of Bologna's last 4 games in Serie A. He's been subbed each time but registered decent 6-7 out of tens, according to Flashscore stats. No goals or assists, along with 1 booking. Typical Remo.

I liked the player ratings from the weekend match

Freuler 6: inizia a padroneggiare il centrocampo come ci si aspetta da uno come lui. Buona prova.

he begins to master the midfield as expected from someone like him. Good try.

Lets hope they want to keep him

Doesn't sound like the score and the write-up quite match there!

Please can somebody mock up a movie (or fill'um) poster of 'Finding Nemo' with Remo's face on that of the eponymous clownfish?

I haven't the technical skills to do so and - whilst it may well have been done already - I haven't the energy to search for it.

Come to my aid, dear technical geeks.

🤣🙏, thanks for the vote of confidence Tiff but I’ve moved into stadium design now 🤔.

I’d love to be able to master paint-shop pro or something similar, but sadly I’m useless 🤣, just imagine what mischief I could cause.

Belfast boy Dale Taylor marked his reintroduction to the Wycombe Wanderers starting line up with a brace of first half goals. Wanderers won 4-1 away at Fleetwood, which lifted them above Derby to the edge of the play offs. He came on after 66 minutes of Wycombe's 2-1 defeat at Portsmouth on Tuesday night.

Neither Omar Richards or Gustavo Scarpa made the Olympiacos match day squad for their 2-2 away draw with Backa Topola on Thursday. As mentioned elsewhere on the forum, Richards is the dreaded two weeks away from a return.

Richie Laryea notched Vancouver Whitecaps' last goal in a comfortable 3-0 home win against St. Louis City. He stroked a crisp left-foot finish into the bottom right corner from a central midfield position during the midweek match.

Luckless Lewis O'Brien is out for up to three months due to a broken tibia and an injured ankle. He'd been playing at left back for Middlesborough instead of his usual central midfield spot.

Neither Jonathan Panzo or Josh Bowler featured for Cardiff City in their 2-0 midweek defeat away at Middlesborough. Bowler played the last 20 minutes of Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Watford. He hadn't played for numerous games due to injury.

Hwang Ui-jo played the first 58 minutes of Norwich's 2-1 midweek defeat at Swansea. He came on after 76 minutes in the Canaries' 1-1 game at Coventry City on Saturday. No joy for him in terms of goals and assists.

Loic Mbe Soh lasted the full 90 in Almere City's 1-0 victory over RKC Wallwijk in the Eredivisie. He was booked but received a 4.3 out of 5 rating.

Emmanuel Dennis appeared for the last 7 minutes of Turkish side Instanbul Basaksehir's 2-0 win against Gaziantep.

No Alex Mighten for KJ Kortrijk this weekend. He missed out through injury again as his Belgian team lost 1-0 away to Westerlo.

Remo Freuler played the full 90 as Bologna held Inter Milan to a 2-2 away draw. The conductor scooped a 3.1 out of 5 in the player ratings.

Dundee's game with Ross County was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch on Saturday. Rain in Scotland, who knew? So, no run-out for Forest youngster Aaron Donnelly.

Oli Hammond came on after 66 minutes of Cheltenham's midweek defeat at home to Fleetwood. He didn't feature in his side's 1-1 draw with mid-table Derby this weekend, meaning he played no part in Cheltenham's first goal of the season. They have just two points.

And last but not least, Fin Back played the full 90 as Carlisle snatched a last minute point at home to Peterborough in midweek. The game finished 1-1. He again played the full 90 in his team's 3-1 win at Bolton on Saturday.

Wycombe fan here - Dale Taylor was brilliant today.

Goal #1: Everyone still trying to figure out how he flicked this header in (including the nonplussed goalie!):

Goal #2: Confident finish.

Fleetwood were pretty dire defensively, but hey-ho, we could have been the team who let Cheltenham score their first goal of the season. (Checks notes)...something called a Derby County, though I just read that they are having it depreciated down to half a goal.

Took a few days away from everything football-related after the frustrations of the Luton game. Still smarting, but here goes.

Omar Richards is yet to make an appearance for Olympiacos. He didn't feature in the squad for their abandoned match with Panathinaikos at the weekend. Gustavo Scarpa was named in the matchday party but hadn't been introduced before the game was called off on 50 minutes when a player was struck by a firework.

Richie Laryea grabbed an assist in Vancouver Whitecaps' 1-1 home draw with Los Angeles FC. The Whitecaps equalized in the 58th minute after Laryea's right wing cross picked out Ahmed who scuffed a finish high into the net. Laryea's been an ever-present in the MLS side's line-up. He's played in 12 games and scored one goal.

Jonjo Shelvey played the full 90 in Rizespor's 3-1 defeat to Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig. Rizespor sit eighth in the table. Shelvey has made five appearances.

In the same league, Emmanuel Dennis entered the fray in the 67th minute during Istanbul Basaksehir's 0-0 away draw with Samsunspor. His side sits 17th out of 20. Dennis has featured in five matches - mostly from the bench - and has no goals or assists.

Loic Mbe Soh played the full game in Eredivisie side Almere City's 1-1 away draw with NEC Nijmegen. He scooped a 6.9 out of 10 in Flashscore ratings. Mbe Soh has now chalked up five appearances.

Alex Mighten didn't cross the white line as Belgian Pro League side KV Kortrijk beat Club Brugge 1-0 at the weekend. Alex has been fighting injury, but has only made two appearances so far with no goals or assists.

Remo Freuler posted a 6.9 out of 10 rating as Bologna beat Frosinone 2-1 in Serie A at the weekend. The conductor has featured in five games so far in the top Italian league.

Josh Bowler claimed an assist through a tricky bit of wing play as Cardiff City thrashed Huddersfield 4-0 away in the Championship on Tuesday night. Bowler was withdrawn after 62 minutes with his team already four goals up and the tie effectively over. At the weekend, he played 61 minutes of Cardiff's 1-0 away defeat at the hands of Blackburn. Bowler has now appeared in 6 games for the Bluebirds in his injury-hit season, scoring one goal. Some very complimentary posts on the Cardiff City forum about his most recent performance. Seems like they'd like to keep him.

Jonathan Panzo was an unused substitute in both of the Cardiff games mentioned above. Panzo has only made one league appearance for the Bluebirds, which was as a sub. His only start came in the EFL Cup, and his performance that night was poor according to the Cardiff City Forum.

Hwang Ui-jo came on after 67 minutes of Norwich's 2-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough on Tuesday night. He also joined the action from the bench in his side's 3-2 home defeat to Leeds at the weekend (after 78 minutes). Hwang is yet to find the net for the Canaries in the league despite featuring in 8 games - although many have been as a replacement. The latest thread on him on the Pink Un forum is entitled: "We've got a problem with our Hwang." It's fair to say he's not a fan favourite in East Anglia.

Aaron Donnelly was an unused substitute when Dundee drew 0-0 with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend. He's yet to appear for the Dens Park men.

Oli Hammond has not featured much since Cheltenham Town appointed a new manager at the end of September. He wasn't named in the squad for any of their last 3 league matches and I can't find anything saying he's injured. At the weekend they recorded their first win of the season, a 1-0 victory at home to Cambridge United, while on Tuesday night they fell 3-2 away at Blackpool. Hopefully he can battle his way back into the team. I had high hopes for him at the start of the season. He's made 7 appearances so far in League One.

Dale Taylor played for 81 minutes of Wycombe Wanderers' 4-2 home loss to Bolton in League One on Tuesday night. He featured for over 90 minutes of their 2-2 draw with Peterborough at the weekend. The young striker didn't score or assist in either game. Dale has now made 13 league appearances, scoring 3 goals.

Fin Back was on the pitch for the vast majority of Carlisle United's last three games - a 2-1 home win against Burton Albion, a 1-0 away defeat against Peterborough, and a 1-0 home loss v Leyton Orient. He's played a total of 14 games this season. There are mixed reports about the young loanee on the Carlisle United forum the Buzz is Back. In their latest match ratings he got an 8 out of 10 for the Burton game, a 7 for the Peterborough match, and a 1 for the Leyton Orient game.

Freuler is not on loan AFAIK. He was a make weight in the deal for Dominguez.

Officially, he's on loan with a conditional obligation to buy.

Yes. But haven't the conditions been met? I'm sure the model was just to bypass FFP for One side or the other.

Forest's website said it was permanent at the time of the transfer. Bologna's said it was a loan. I've looked for more information on a few occasions, but can't find anything definitive.

Didn't see the game, but a couple of sites say he just came on in second half injury time. Even still, the BBC's player ratings have him leading the way with 6.96. Strange one.

Same old, same old.

Gustavo Scarpa played the last 7 minutes of Olympiacos' 2-0 win against OFI Crete. No Omar Richards, again.

As mentioned above, the Hwang scored for Norwich in their 3-1 away defeat to Sunderland. He scooped a 7 out 10 in Norwich media outlet the Pink Un's player ratings, but Either Way, he'll be back at Forest in the summer.

Jonjo Shelvey played the full 90 as Rizespor fell 1-0 at home to Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig. He recorded a 6.4 in Flashscore ratings.

Emmanuel Dennis started for Istanbul Basaksehir in their 1-0 defeat away to Antalyaspor. He fared slightly better than Shelvey in the ratings with a 6.5, but was hooked on 66 minutes.

Alex Mighten posted a 6.3 rating after he came on for the last 25 minutes of KV Kortrijk's 3-0 home defeat to Genk in the Belgian Pro League.

Richie Laryea played the full game when Vancouver Whitecaps were put to the sword 5-2 away at Los Angeles FC in the MLS.

In Italy, Remo Freuler received a 7.6 rating for his display in Bologna's 1-1 draw with Sassuolo.

A 7.1 rating for Loic Mbe Soh in Dutch side Almere City's 0-0 draw with Go Ahead Eagles.

Young Aaron Donnelly made an encouraging Scottish Premier League debut for Dundee in their 2-0 away win at Livingstone. He got a 7.5 rating. Some nice comments about his display on Dundee forum the Dark Blues.

Josh Bowler played 72 minutes of Cardiff City's 2-0 win at home to Bristol City. Bowler got a 6 out of 10 in Wales Online's player rankings.

Dale Taylor played the full game as Wycombe Wanderers drew 2-2 away at Oxford United. Just a 6.4 for Dale.

Just 17 minutes for Gustavo Scarpa in Olympiacos' 4-2 home loss to PAOK in the Greek Super League.

Another rating over 7 for Remo Freuler as Bologna beat Lazio 1-0 at home. A quick look at some translated comments from Italian fans on Twitter suggests he's doing well in Serie A.

Emmanuel Dennis started on the bench again for Istanbul Basaksehir's 3-3 draw with Ankaragucu in the Turkish Super Lig. Dennis entered the fray after 67 minutes.

Alex Mighten made his first start for Belgian side KV Kortrijk in their 1-1 away draw with RWDM. He posted a 6.8 rating and was substituted after 72 minutes.

Loic Mbe Soh received a 7.7 rating in Dutch Eredivisie team Almere City's 2-1 away win at Sparta Rotterdam. Loic played the full game.

Youngster Aaron Donnelly played the full game but got a 6.2 rating when Dundee were hammered 5-0 by Rangers at Dens Park in midweek. He only got onto the pitch in the 90th minute of their 1-0 home victory against Livingston at the weekend.

Dale Taylor was replaced on 79 minutes as Wycombe Wanderers drew 0-0 at home to Cambridge United in midweek. He played 74 minutes of his side's 2-1 FA Cup win at Bradford City.

Josh Bowler patrolled the right hand side for 77 minutes of Cardiff City's 0-0 away draw with Stoke. He grabbed a 7.3 rating.

Hwang Ui-jo got a 6.8 rating in Norwich City's 3-1 home defeat to Blackburn Rovers. He played the full 90.
