Well, if no one else is bothered Here I go for a short lived spell of matchday thread starters. Last time at the WFCG, the game was EPIC. Samba's water bottle, MGW's penalty; Wembley on the horizon and return to the top flight. This time the Blunts may start as 2nd favourites, but for Forest a defeat could be costly.

Captain I’ve never been keen on them polls since that Jan Tomaszewski made all them saves back in 1973 and cost England a place at the World Cup so I’m sort of glad it’s missing and I’ve crossed out yer plea for help on this occasion, but I have sent an SOS out ta @Flaggers I’ve been keeping him reet wi IT stuff for ages now and I think it’s about time I cut the apron strings and let him sort out a poll for ya

Flaggers if ya get stuck just send me a MP thingy

Yeah, people will debate it - but we have to set the tone not only for us but for them also.

Watching them today & they were terrible, Palace were playing at walking pace and still could have won 4-0. Ben Osborn & Jack Robinson started for them - enough said.

Put it this way, it will be a massive disappointment if we don't win this as we won't get a better chance for 3 points in a long time.

As much as I like the idea of this. I don't think Cooper will go for it. Elanga, Johnson etc are great running at teams but not so sure they're as good when we have lots of possession. Key thing is, we don't need 5 at the back.

McKenna or Boly to miss out for Taiwo, Elanga or Johnson to start.

I have added a poll with the time-honoured LTLF 4th option

I'd love to see it, though suspect if we do it'll be something we switch into. I actually wouldn't mind seeing us start MGW as a false nine with Elanga and BJ either side of him - add Yates to the midfield and bring Taiwo on later.

The 4231 set up mentioned by others looks good to me.

Need to win, not necessarily your 'must win' relegation battle game but rather if we don't win this one then high chance Cooper doesn't last past September.

Why have you put Awoniyi in goal and Turner at centre forward?
Your team sheet layout reminds me of Jim Maxwell commentating on the Ashes: wickets first then runs.
It is just bad form... typical of a convict.
So, please redo the team sheet with the goalie at the top, then the back 3/4/5
Then the 2 holding midfielders
Than the attacking midfielders
Then the striker(s).
You know it makes sense.
Just do it!!
