I think he probably trusts them more than our other fit options, which in Ayew's case is fair enough given he captained a cooper side for a couple of years.

I'd say he trusts Lingard - it'll be more a case of how fit he is.

I have to say I never expected Ayew to be given quite this much game time when he signed having been semi-retired in Qatar.

I hope it's down to lack of other options because surely when others are fit he gets nowhere near and is purely in the squad as emergency back up.

Part of me thnks Dyche has spent so much time watching Forest during his sabbatical, that he knows every weakness and will be getting his Toffees to focus on that.
That same part reckons he will tell his Toffees that the Arsenal game is a free hit.
And that next Sunday is a must win game for them.
Then there is the forest fan who has attended every home game this season, and witnessed just what the city Ground does to opposition players... Dyche can't be out playing on the pitch, an when "Mist rolling in from the Trent" starts, the Toffees will show they have soft centres, and will melt away faster than snow off a Dyke, and I have no doubt in my mind that Forest will chew the toffees up, swallow the soft centres and spit 'em out into the gutter.
3-0 Forest.

Why no Yates ? Surely he's got to be ready by then ? Doesn't anyone know why he ,ouldnt make the bench yesterday ?
If he’s fit I’d start him every week, I only used players we know to be fit.

Who actually knows who’s back in training or not, when folk get injured here they seem to drop off the face of the planet.

In Tiff we trust!
Looking forwards to a bullet header from Yates.
Yesterday was simply a bad day at the office.

It’s at home at least. Result lies in the hands of the physios. Oh, and leaving Wood on the bench. Every game he’s started, we’ve been dogshit

Would love to have the typical Cooper “he’s dead Col, attended the funeral yesterday” then have Yates, Awoniyi and Serge all start

I was confident we'd get a result yesterday after the City game. I don't know what to think now.

This is easily the most important game of the season so far-win and we could be 7 points clear of the drop,
lose and we are right in serious trouble.
I wouldn’t like to predict the outcome-but I don’t expect a goal fest.

I'm still punch drunk from yesterdays shitshow but one things for certain, Dyche will target our small full backs Neco and Lodi, aerially, physically, mentally thats our real weak links. And McNeil seems to be having a good spell orchestrating from the left wing. I offer up a prayer to a God of anyones choice that Yates and Aurier are back for this because the midfield battle is going to be a war. He has Onana, Gana and Doucoure working like POW's which isnt surprising so we need Yates, Jonjo and Freuler to match them because if we lose battle we're in big trouble.
They're poor finishers, not that we're Real Madrid in that department ourselves but we cannot roll over and accomodate yet another team on correcting their stats like the one i just heard last night "Maupay has now not scored for 22 years" - that line is up there with Coops saying "I have to say training has been really excellent this week" for putting the shit out of me, it just always seems to end in misery for us.

Right thats the cobwebs blown off, win this and we really are in a good place because of how the table is shaping up. Tarkowski and Coleman are there to be got at (so ideally big Chris will be sitting this one out, get at them), Mykolenko is a fairly poor left back that i hope Johnson rips to bits with anger and fury.

Actually thats enough talk about the game, still sore after yesterday. I hope this time next week we're jumping up and down celebrating a 7 point gap to the bottom after yet another glorious win at home by hook or by crook. COYR!

Got to hope some of the walking dead are back for this; I wouldn't be confident of a win with the same starting 11 as yesterday.

Maupay not scoring for years worries me. We've often been very helpful in that department.

We'll need to keep it tight at the back because if we conced 1 we'll probably conceded 3. The West ham capitulation will be in the back of everyone's mind, and a repeat could well end up becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We're going to need some mental grit from the 11 on the pitch, because it's going to be a long, tense 90 minutes. The last thing we need is to freely hand yet another relegation rival a massive boost to their own survival chances.

My mate's a season ticket holder at Goodison. He said that McNeil is delivering some excellent balls into the box. The only problem is they're 18" too high for Maupay.

I was bemoaning our away form. He said you should see their away form, but then added we will next week. He's not confident.
