Can we lock Neco in a cellar or something so he can't play in this?

We'll do this lot and then people will be talking about top half finishes, and then we'll get fisted by Spurs and people will be preparing for the drop again

Might not be the best football we're displaying but it's an entertaining season no less

This would be my side.

Navas

Williams (Unless Serge is back)
Felipe
Worrall
Lodi

Freuler
Jonjo
Danilo

BJ
Surridge
MGW

We simply have to keep the ball on the ground this match which is why I’d play Danilo in the middle, keep it on the floor and play with a positive attitude and we will win.

If he’s struggling I’d put Scarpa in his place at half time.

If Wood starts and we lump it forward for 90 minute I’ll start to panic about the rest of the season.

Why no Yates ? Surely he's got to be ready by then ? Doesn't anyone know why he ,ouldnt make the bench yesterday ?

Lingard looked fitter than expected yesterday - if he's up to it a might go for that (slightly annoying) false nine thing we did against Spurs with him and BJ either side of MGW for an hour or so, with Wood as an off the bench option.

Can't see Cooper trusting Dennis to come in (rightly so on what we've seen), but he's another choice for the tricky left forward spot in Awoniyi's absence.

Ahhh...but you seem to be forgetting that Cooper seems to rank Wood and then Ayew above all others...

This is going to be one hell of a game. Dyche will have them revved up and unless we get our mojo back after Saturday, we're in the mire.

My big fear this season is the home form. Not that which has happened, but that which is about to happen.

Given that our away form is in the toilet and going to stay there, the home form for the coming matches has got to stay strong, otherwise, it's hello Championship.

Yeah Lingard looked really good, every touch was quick & with purpose.

It's easy to forget he was really picking up momentum before he got injured.

I think he probably trusts them more than our other fit options, which in Ayew's case is fair enough given he captained a cooper side for a couple of years.

I'd say he trusts Lingard - it'll be more a case of how fit he is.

He would also have a better level of base fitness now as he had barely played going into the start of this one. Hope he comes back at the level he'd built, as he'll be an asset in the run in if so.

Where's me hammer?
Id go with a different captain for this one, we need an example setter and someone who sets the standard.... that yesterday was not acceptable, but there was nothing, no bollockings dished out, no pointing fingers, just looks to the floor as we concede again.

Wank.

His career has been dotted with periods of him not doing anything all season then going absolutely mental for a month or two. Hopefully he kicks into life.
