Precisely. If we act like arses and force him out we could be entering next season with 1 senior striker and Swan. Thats unless we are prepared to pay 5-7M to recruit someone else and add that to the couple of mil we will have to write off to "remove" Taylor. Its simply doesn't stack up.

Its a shame it never worked for him here, he had spells in that Charlton team where he looked a level above. I know he's getting older but I imagine there's still a player in there (albeit a temperamental one) who just relies on a certain surrounding to perform, if he does end up at Birmingham and they can keep him happy I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a decent season

Completely agree. I still think theres definitely a decent striker there, despite all the comments on here and I would bet that once he's in a team that appreciates him and gives him a run in the right position to maximise his attributes, he'll score a shedload. I fully expect him to score against us if he comes back....
