The NEP is a joke, Trevor Frecknall, John Lawson & Duncan Hamilton would be turning in their graves, if they’re dead I’m not sure

It had an 'article' on there today about "A Statement" from "Forest fans" about signings. It comprised a few random comments from the usual Twitter half-wits.

Duncan Hamilton is very much alive and kicking.
He has just won his third William Hill book award for his biography of The Guardian’s legendary cricket correspondent Neville Cardus, titled “The Great Romantic”.

I can't say that I know much about this lad other than he appears to offer something different to Grabban, Mir and (should he be recalled) Walker.

This guy is an absolute arrogant knob.

He’s deleted most of the tweets now but he was banging on about how he should pay less tax, not more and that people should vote Conservative. Have a read of his Twitter to get an idea of what he’s like.

But maybe he’s good at football so it doesn’t matter if he comes across thicker than Lansbury.

Surely this is only the same as Lolley tweeting that people should vote Labour?
I do agree, but the difference is that Lolley was tweeting to benefit everyone (in his opinion) and didn't care about himself losing money, whereas Lyle was literally tweeting about being selfish and not wanting to lose money. If he was tweeting because he thought the conservatives were overall a better party etc and not just his own selfish reasons It wouldn't be so imo.

I wasn't aware of Joe's political views, so fair play to him for believing in a fairer distribution of wealth. I like his playing attitude anyway, but he's now gone up even further in my estimation.

However, this Lyle Taylor can f*** right off!

Otis YOURE the best poster on here. If we had some sort of end of the year awards, you’d get all of them.

It is , I personally think players shouldn't be allowed to post political statements on their public social media accounts, Lolley isn't exactly setting the world alight this season if I were the manager I would be telling him to let his football do the talking as he is employed to kick a bag of wind around not advise on political issues.
As a Volunteer for the Rspb we were all told not to post anything political on our social media accounts, Nottingham Forest football club should take the same approach.
And if you are reading this Joe, Get down Leeds road today and put on a performance that will have the Huddersfield fans in a total rage.

In your opinion.

Some players are dicks, and many aren't renowned for their laser like intellects. I'm far more interested in whether they can do a job for us than what their personal political views are or which party they voted for in the election.

This all day long.

So long as Taylor actually earns his coin he's entitled want to do with it what he wants. He's not hurting or abusing anyone.

Think you're right Lard, in an ideal world they wouldn't have a say in it. But in 2020 there's no chance of that sadly.

It’s their social media account, they’re human with opinions. Who gives a toss, unless it’s actually subhuman levels. All that matters is the performance on the grass which lolley has literally done nothing this whole season.

I think that we ought to pay a penny more on income tax for the Health Service, then other accounts which need money, too, can be paid, rather than robbing Peter to pay Paul.

When you're old, your priorities tend to change.

Away for his political views. Which I care little about. I don't really want us to sign him. He's just coming off a knee injury, is soon to turn 30 and relies on movement and a turn of pace.

Stylistically, he could be a good option for something different. But not fond on us being his cash cow to milk for his last decent contract.

I also think he has stupid hair. That bothers me more than his opinions, weirdly.

Let's help fund the NHS by giving yet another entitled knob far more money than he's actually worth. No thanks.
