Wolves are weighing up making a £20m bid for the Leicester forward Kelechi Iheanacho, according to The Mirror.
I was reading about Nunes for them essentially going on strike and Podence being banished to the U21s - they seem to be annoyed with Mendes and him trying to move on all of his clients but are expecting sales and therefore cash but with the bulk of it retained by the club.

If they sign him but get rid off their creative (Also prickish) players then they're probably preparing for a struggle. If they pay £20m then they are also thick.

Free agent so could be a good addition.

Huge dollop of salt as it's Football Insider.

He’d be third choice striker with little upside at his age and can’t see him working out wide for us.

Looks like the sort of signing we will be trying to offload next summer. Pass from me.

This guy has had such a disappointing career, considering how much of a wonderkid he looked at Man City. You would think he'd have been a journeyman, so it's equally strange that he was at Leicester for 7 years.

OK, let's never buy a free again.

Also, whilst we're at it, let's only hire managers who's surname begins with a C.

Clough, Clark, Cooper.
1 As I have mentioned on several occasions: free agents are not "free" (Lingard got a reported "Golden Hello" of around £4m, plus a weekly salary of around £100k per week);
2 My point was to illustrate the risks of recruiting "free agents" - they are free for a reason (and Leicester have deemed Ihenacho surplus to requirement - and as a striker in a league where teams are desperate to get good strikers, that can't be a great recommendation);
3 Your point about manager isn't worth responding to... I presume it was mrant to be amusing.

I doubt we're actually looking at him, but when Leicester got relegated I thought this guy was going to tear the Championship a new one. I thought Leicester had gone down partly due to being too loyal to Vardy

Then he barely started a match, only scored five goals and no one cared when he left on a free.

I said it last summer but I think he is an underrated player. He's never been the main man enough to really push on in the Prem.

Agree with @The Frog, If you offered me him or Che Adams as that 3rd choice I would pick Iheanacho all day.

I'm kinda surprised how anti people are to the idea of Iheanacho as our third striker on a free transfer. I'd be genuinely interested to hear what names people would suggest as options for our third striker.

Then how do you explain their relative seasons in the Championship last season?
