Kelechi Iheanacho

Monkman

Jack Burkitt
He got injured setting up one of their last goals of the season didn't he? Looked like it might be a bit nasty.

I think he's a good player, but we need someone who can fill in for Taiwo whilst he is at AFCON, not someone who'll also be there with him.
What if he played so badly that he didn't get selected for AFCON?

The majority of Leicester fans really rate him and were baffled by him not playing more. Also desperate for him to stay.

Gerrim in.
Whenever I've had a nosey on their forum during the run in, he seemed to be one of the few players Leicester fans actually liked.

If not for the AFCON concern, it'd be a yes from me. But we really need someone (whose name isn't Chris Wood) to cover for Taiwo during AFCON.

Is it a plausible scenario that we sign Iheanacho plus one other striker, and move Dennis on?

Considering the other positions that we have to fill (all of which will be costly), I don't think there would be enough room in the budget to sign two strikers unfortunately (even if Dennis leaves).

I quite like Iheanacho, was always someone I bought on Fifa as a striker. Never felt like he belonged at Citeh but seemed to do well at Lesta (Similar to Jesus at Arsenal).

Can't say I'd be disappointed with him as a signing but agree with the AFCON issue

True-but the maximum missed Premier League games during AFCON is only 4 (assuming all the
Forest players involved reach the later stages of the competition-probably unlikely).

4 games is a lot of games in the Premier League, and could be very costly. We already have too many players at AFCON as it is, we need to bring in quality players that will be available during that period.
