Not arsed about the football but I can't wait for the matchday experience
Need to get me sen a ticket for the Bournemouth game

I'll definitely get a few trips over this season. As for the other games, is there any sense that ifollow will continue this year or was that only because fans weren't allowed to attend?
How are we all feeling about it? I don't want to say Post Coronavirus because it's going to be knocking around regardless but do we think there will be any changes
Testing at the turnstiles, face masks, no queueing for food etc.. or will it largely be as it was before?
I can't actually decide whether or not to buy a season card. Normally, I share my dad's but he's retired now so he wants to be going every game.
On the one hand, it's been 490 days since we've been allowed to watch Forest and I missed going, especially with my old man. I don't just miss the football, I miss the crowd, the shit food, the noise etc..
That being said, can't say i've been massively entertained with us as a club in the last 490 days and the lack of any kind of movement this summer so far has me a little sceptical.
I'd probably have spent the money on a season card last year but in the cold light of day, £365 seems a lot. Right now, the seat next to my dad is available though and might not be for much longer.
Is anyone else in a similar boat? I'd appreciate the advice.
You need to renew and go with your Dad. One day he won’t be around to go with, and that first game there without him will feel like a massive kick in your balls.
Absolutely. My mum died suddenly at an early age. Ever since I've been far more grateful for every new day and the moments spent with loved ones before we all inevitably pass away. That is so true. You potter along thinking things will never change; then one day-BANG- it's gone and you regret things you should have done, but put off for another day.
After last night and how long we've been away, I put this on today to cheer me up.
Is there a better feeling than 27-28 thousand Forest fans belting out Mull Of Kintyre at the top of their lungs?
If there is, I'm yet to experience it.
As I remarked in the Crowds To Return thread, I'll be looking to avoid the Main Stand concourse as much as I can.
Every reason to have the thing knocked down once planning permission is granted.
Having seen the previous stand destroyed by fire in 1968(as I'm sure you did Otis),I must say it's replacementI've had the same seat in D-Block for well-over 30-years with a vantage-point that I really like, but they can't demolish the f***ing thing and replace it soon enough for me.
How it still gets a safety certificate every year baffles me.

is now looking like an embarrassing eyesore.
Yes,I watched the events from the East Stand terrace. With hindsight,it seems more frightening than it appearedIt does Cloughie, and probably because it was constructed to exactly the same design and footprint, using concrete and steel instead of wood/steel.
For the record, I ended up on the pitch that afternoon after escaping over the wall from the Main Stand terrace. It wasn't until seeing the footage from the Bradford City fire a couple of decades later that I realised just how serious our situation had been, and how lucky we were.
And there we go. Pain in the arse.
So for the last mth it's been totally acceptable to attend a football match without a mask and on Sunday we a witnessed nearly 70k attend Wembley for which I'd say the majority didn't have masks on.
How on earth can they NOW can come out with this to me is utter bollox.
Let's also not forget Wimbledon were again no masks were compulsory?.
Good luck with this I say as most fans including myself will say f*** off to masks but if they require vaccine proof then fine I'll take mine along happily.
A friend of mine is getting married this weekend, on the 4th attempt, with heavy restrictions and number limits still in place. So for the last mth it's been totally acceptable to attend a football match without a mask and on Sunday we a witnessed nearly 70k attend Wembley for which I'd say the large majority didn't have masks on including the royal box.

It's absolutely infuriating to her watching all the scenes over the last month from the Euros.
