Yes I have and i've also heard of the concept and reality of abuse. It hurts to be abused and it doesnt hurt any less if the intention was to be funny

It really makes me feel sad that we only 'support' our players when they are playing well. If they are not they are seen as fair game
I see what you're saying but the minimum I expect for any player in our squad is that they maintain their physical fitness

The whole "Origi is fat" thing is a meme as the guy obviously isn't, and did look in better shape last night, but at the start of the season he was quite clearly unfit and also very much had the air of someone who couldn't be arsed

Add to that the massive wages we're paying him and the fact he isn't actually our player and you can see why fans were on his back

But if cutting him some slack means he'll improve to a point he can be relied upon to deputise for Awoniyi and Wood then I'm all for it as we could well need him

I'll believe it when I see it, however

Watching the full replay of the FA cup game and Origi actually has been quite useful. With wood out he’ll probably have a big part to play and I think I’m fine with that.

Also, unrelated to this thread, but Kouyate plays so far forward that it surprises me. AND Montiel is a f***ing moron for trying to jump volley that cross from Toff lol.

Yeah as long as he’s allowed to punch in all his goals, he should bag a few before his time here is done

It was the most ridiculous thing I've seen on a football pitch.
If montiel had stood, used his chest and then half-volleyed he might have scored.
But as we are talking Montiel... he probably wouldn't.

This thread should should be empty because that's what he's offered so far.....nothing.

Not arsed if I don't see him in a matchday squad again. Let the young lad Riberio have a crack for 20 mins when Taiwo comes off and see what he's got because he simply give any less than Origi does.
Has Origi had a shot on target in a premier league for us? I remember heading one shot last night, but it went way over the bar.

My Riberio worry remains in that it's all come a bit too soon - tough one throwing a kid into a relegation battle... Kid gloves required.

The over the shot bar was because a Magpie defender (Burn?) got a block in and deflected the ball over the top.
as per usual, we got nothing from the resulting corner.

Facking wank. Play the younger potential players instead and let them learn their trade. Even if they offer as little, they'll at least be growing as players. Origi's only growth will be pork-pie driven.

To keep doing the same thing and see no results is the way to madness. Or relegation.
Yeah he's truly terrible - my hope is that Wood scan showed damage that he'd already played through (when ruled out for 8 weeks or whatever earlier in the season) l, and that he'll be back sooner than expected with proper treatment/op waiting until summer... suppose that, if correct, may depend on whether he has to find a new club then.

Start playing him when we are in the champ?

Play him and it's more likely we'll end up there?

Its a tough one, but when your manager is saying he needs time I'm not sure we've bought him in for the here and now, which realistically is what we need. Sadly that's Origi though while wood is out.

A flick that could have gone anywhere, wasn't well placed that Neco made more out of than he had any right doing so

Origi is still utter shite
