Agree. I get the feeling Reyna & Dortmund will be regretting their choice of destination already.
When he first came with the injuries we had you could envisage him starting after a game or two but the front line have caught fire since. Bad timing on his part but good for Forest, there's no chance of any of that front four being dropped at the moment

I agree about him not starting at the moment.

I'm hoping for him to get some more minutes later on though. He's quite the coup & one that we need to utilise.

Yeah I'm sure he will get some minutes, just not as a starter. There will be games where we need to pull Elanga, CHO or MGW after 65 mins to protect them or change things up.

As much as I'm not convinced about him, it's much better than last season - watching Dennis or Ayew (shudder) being thrown on to work something out...definitely an area that needs looked at as we shoot for the stars next season after this second difficult album.

One less gobshite...
What about his looping back heel to get Williams in which lead to the CHO goal.

Smart play of flukey deflection?

Agreed - they’ll both get a chance about this time against Liverpool when we’re 3 or 4 up and can rest a couple of the starters. 😉

Really it's the CHO-MGW-Elanga line as he'd never cover CF.

There's no way those three will play every minute of every game so he'll get opportunities.

It was already assumed that you hadn't put CF and Origi in the same sentence

A flick that could have gone anywhere, wasn't well placed that Neco made more out of than he had any right doing so

Origi is still utter shite
You expect a back heeled flick of a ball at hip height to be well placed? He literally sees Neco running by him and plays a ball good enough to put Neco through to cross and get us in a position to cement victory.

Jesus Christ, Origi could score a hattrick and you'd probably complain that he made 1 misplaced pass.

It looked totally instinctive, but he clearly spots Williams' run and executes it well. Neco still had much to do however, and his sheer desire to get past the defender and create a chance was terrific to see. Callum's composed finish topped it all off.

I don't think Origi is as bad as folk make out, he did ok when he came on yesterday & also against Bristol in the cup

He's our 3rd choice striker
Exactly Eddie. Bringing him in was always going to be a bit of a punt given his more recent record, and being 3rd-choice as you rightly point out meant that gametime was hopefully going to be limited. In Wood's absence he now has an opportunity to have a positive impact; hopefully the fans get behind him and he takes it.

CHO has responded and earned his spot. Reyna can't claim a start over him or MGW right now.

We've seen it with several players this season now. It's almost as though having some time on the pitch is beneficial
Aye... as always, too many folk writing players far too quickly without giving the poor boggers a chance.

He's good at those defence splitting, daisy cutting through-balls isn't he. Seen 4 or 5 pearlers now- including the one for MGW's goal.
