Yeah I was there and couldn't really tell what happened for the goal really. I think Felipe should probably claim most of the credit.
Otherwise his all round play was OK and looked decent with the ball at his feet in wide areas, albeit against championship defenders. Could be a useful back-up/sub option for the wide positions, but If we end up with him leading the line for any length of time it will be a struggle.

Last night didn't really change my opinion of him, but I'll guess he'll have to do as 3rd/4th choice for the remainder of the season. Hopefully Taiwo stays fit, Wood returns quicker than anticipated and Ribeiro offers something so we don't have to use him much.

He's at least a little fitter than I had feared. Probably won't be much use if we bring him on chasing a goal, but might at least be useful as an outlet if we need to see games out and Taiwo is tiring.

We're at a point where, if Taiwo got injured, we just need a body to play up front. Origi's nobody's first choice for that role but if the worst happens we'll be glad to have him.

In fairness to the lump I think bringing on when chasing a goal has been his remit throughout his career - he has form for it and could be an effective foil of sorts as a second striker... (a bit like putting a biffa bin in the area and punting balls at it might be.)
Why do we have to be so abusive to our own players? Taiwo suffered it, Wood suffered through it before he hit form and now Origi is getting abuse. Please can we give the guy a chance and cut down on the disrespect of our own players.
We only seem to back our own players when they are playing well. This is not support.

First half he ran down the left and evaded a couple of challenges -it got pulled back for a foul on him but lively play. Like any player-needs match sharpness though playing minutes and goals always help.
