I think 38/40k is our ceiling apart from one off huge games
Yep that's about right. I'd put us in the Villa bracket at best in terms of attendances. Honestly we shouldn't be looking approaching 50k, I don't deny there's games we could sell out with that but size isn't everything. Revenues can be generated elsewhere... you know like clever sell on clauses paying for your new star player..lol

I’m not sure we are even in the Villa bracket to be honest. In recent years a bit of decent pricing and now a premier league bounce takes us above 30k, especially in the first season back. Hopefully we can capitalise on it, build the ground up and keep the next generation of fan. But Villa are a level up from us for me if I’m honest.

This is Chelsea's proposal.

Sorry but why do we need to rotate the City Ground?

On the list of priorities for Forest I'd put that at rock bottom.
Because then we could have 4 stands that don't fit the pitch, instead of the current..er..zero....

Is the extension of the upper tier of the Bridgford End still in the plans or has it been quietly dropped.

I was under the impression it was never part of phase one of the rebuild and would be addressed once the PT stand was up in order to prevent loss of too many seats at once. It certainly isn't in any of the submitted plans.

There's no way you would get a stand of that size on the current site.

Liverpool had to knock down two rows of houses to build it. They knocked down a 8,500 capacity stand!
Aren’t we building 4 blocks of apartments in the main stand carpark? Reckon we could have gone a couple of thousand larger..

We're building a residential block.

It would be difficult to take any ore space unless you didn't do the residential.

But I think the residential is critical to financing the stand.

All that snow on the ground makes it look more like South Park than South Notts. Plus someone seems to have flattened Lady Bay Bridge... :)

Yeah that's my point.. I think we're in a position now (if we stay up) to build the stand without such a large resi block..
