Would love to finally see Everton disappear down the plughole.
I agree Wolves' start has been very tough but even so to only take 2 points from it is poor. Usually the bottom teams scramble a win from somewhere.Wolves have had an incredibly hard set of fixtures to start the season. When I have seen them play they look okay. Can’t see them going down but who knows?
It's very poor for them. Even with the tough fixtures you'd expect them to at least fluke one win. However the biggest worry for them is their GD puts them right where they ought to be and they've conceded the most goals in the league. 5! Goals more than the next worse with 25.I agree Wolves' start has been very tough but even so to only take 2 points from it is poor. Usually the bottom teams scramble a win from somewhere.
Other than them it just looks like the promoted sides once again who will go and that can't be good for the game moving forward. We may have lucked out getting promoted when we did as its getting harder with each year. Then you throw in the fact that in our second season when we had a points deduction and were generally piss poor we had the 3 worst promoted teams in history. We've certainly had the rub of the green in that sense.
We will find out whether Wolves are doomed this weekend.
Wolves have a run of games coming up they could well take points from. Between Palace and XMas it's Saints, Fulham, Muff, Everton, West Ham, Ipswich, Fester. We will find out whether Wolves are doomed this weekend. If they lose to Palace the entire bottom 3 will be cut adrift.
To win the Premier League? Easy Money. We're 25/1 now.
I think it's time to close this thread and open the Title Race one
Other than the Liverpool match, the points and performances are the minimum expected and required to ensure Premiership survival. Nearly all the matches were against rival teams who likewise attempting to avoid the annual relegation battle. Realistically the next six matches will provide an accurate indication on our relative improvement. Yes, a stable, and stronger co-hesive squad are showing dividends, with marked progress in eradicting errors, defending set-pieces, and an understanding between players. The concern unfortunately will always be injuries, squad depth, Internationals timing (i.e. African Cup and Concacaf), but more worryingly the lure of Top Clubs unsettling or acquiring key players. If the disruption is kept to a minimum, and our team continually shows measured improvement the Club could be looking to finishing in the top half of the league at least. Most redundant thread on LTLF since the "Schteve McClaren is a tactical genius" one

You say that and I agree, but isn’t it nice to be getting the points? In the last couple of seasons I’m not sure I’d have been confident of getting all three points even being one goal and man up at half time.Other than the Liverpool match, the points and performances are the minimum expected and required to ensure Premiership survival.
