This season i now worry about not one we will obviously lose a few more and be games where it doesn't click for us but there isn't a game left that we can't win I've got a feeling this new elanga role is gonna make the end of this season very special

Everyone's going to fight harder towards the end of the season.
The relegated teams are way way out of it, but everyone else is a proper cup final.
We can expect to lose some games, but so can everyone around us at the top. The form table is crazy. Palace, Brighton and Liverpool are at the top and I don't see it lasting forever for either Palace or Brighton.
All we can do is what we've been doing. Trust Nuno

Are They? as it stands, everyone from Wolves to United have nothing to play for, virtually guaranteed mid table mediocrity with as good as 0 chance of either Relegation or Europe and by the time we play them, Palace and Brentford will almost certainly fall into that category too, that encompasses 6 of our remaining 9 fixtures,

Some teams do play better without pressure but yes I think on whole, Villa & Chelsea will be our only games left where teams are playing for anything other than pride.

Not sure it will make that much of a difference, I always find the ones to avoid at the end of the season are the ones near the bottom but Leicester will almost certainly be gone by then.

7th place the last few years have been 60 and 61 points. 2 wins and a draw from where we are now.

though it feels like 60 points might not be enough this season.

Delighted with the win
However this now puts me in a massive situation as I couldn't go to brentford at home as it's the same weekend as round 2 of my race season my son was fine with this as he enjoys coming to my racing not sure how happy he will be when he finds out which weekend the semi final is 🙈
I'm hoping for a Saturday 5pm kick off as I'm racing brands hatch and only have 1 race on a Saturday and could get to Wembley and get back for Sundays races if it's Sunday I'm f**ked 😭

In my first season watching Forest, when I was six, it was the season that we finished third in the league and I thought that Forest were one of the good teams. The next season obviously we had our run in the UEFA Cup and got to the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup before finishing tenth, so naturally I felt like this was normal.

You can imagine my surprise when for the next quarter century, despite fleeting moments of pleasure, it was hard not to somewhat feel cheated but as you do when you give your heart to a football club, you're just along for the ride.

With the exception of my family, Forest has been the thing that was there for me. It made me feel that much better after a good result and that much worse after a bad one. You don't expect a football club to love you back, but you buy into it, heart and soul anyway.

I'm some what of a pessimistic Forest fan, through the experience of all the false starts of the last 25 years. Good seasons are like gold dust for a lot of teams in our positions, fortunes can change very quickly. Our season next season might be a struggle, with a new reality we've never had to deal with.

That being said, we're currently 4 points away from our highest ever Premierleague points total. We're essentially two months from securing European football again, with a very reasonable chance of finishing in those Champions League places. We're going back to Wembley, albeit it for a semi-final for the FA Cup for the first time since we were beaten at Wembley.

We are not supposed to be here. City and Chelsea have limped through this season, Spurs and United have absolutely lost the plot. City are the only Big 6 team left in the FA Cup. We've beaten Liverpool, United, Spurs and City as well as Brighton and Villa. Leicester are a f***ing shambles, Derby are threatened with relegation. We've got arguably the best goalkeeper in the world, Chris Wood is back soon, we've got a fantastic bunch of lads who seem to get on great together and all in all, everyone involved with Forest are together.

The best part is, all these elitist voices in football have absolutely no choice but to recognize us because we are where we are, playing how we play.

How the f*** you think my mood is? 😂

Remember when every man and his dog were fawning over Brentford’s home record (until some knights in red shining armour rode in and spanked them)? Well that was because they played all the terrible teams at home and the good ones away.

Guess what, they now can’t win for toffee at home but suddenly have a great away record. I wonder what’s going on here?

Colour me not worried about Brentford.

Absolutely.

They went 2 points on their first 9 away games because they went to decent teams.

Meanwhile they were putting away all the tosh at home and the pundits were raving.

We went to their place and turned them over in that period.

Now the fixtures have flipped and they are getting done by decent teams at home and turning over all the tosh on the road.

We are not tosh, we are (more than) decent. Not bothered by Brentford.

An overwhelming sense of relief that we're safe and don't have to worry about Wood being injured. Anything else is a bonus.

A massive upcoming week for Forest.

The 2022/23 Accounts are likely to appear tomorrow, hopefully we'll get confirmation on the FA Cup semi-final dates and ticket details by Tuesday, then there's Man. Utd. on Tuesday night, before a potential Wembley ticket scramble on Friday morning and the Villa trip next Saturday evening.

Few would have thought any of this possible 5 years ago, but here we are. It might become fairly common if the lads keep on winning.

****in marvellous stuff 👏🔴

The PL1 squad that dug in to battle and get us over the dotted line had guts to be fair. The PL2 squad triumphed in the face of adversity and transition in another superb effort.

This PL3 Nunoball squad has some serious minerals and is on a whole different level though. All absolutely dialled in to the plan and pulling in the same direction.

We are 3rd in the top flight of English football. Third.

In addition, Wembley awaits 👏🔴

Not too tense at the moment.

Reflecting after the game yesterday, I think it might be better if we started smaller, in the Europa League or even Conference, for instance. Then progressed to the CL later when we have a bigger more complete squad.

Of course, if we get to the CL, by all means go for it, but I think we are more suited to something less powerful.

I'm worried about the injuries derailing our quest for CL football, but knowing we are likely to have the cushion of Europa League anyway and an FA Cup semi-final is providing some relief.

We are going to win the F.A. Cup.
That gives forest Champions' League entry in its own right.
