• All - you probably don't need to be told, but....
Despite the Admins' best efforts some spammers/scammers/scalpers are getting through the entry system and are, astonishingly, in possession of FA Cup tickets that they, astonishingly, don't want!

It's probably a scam, and either way it's a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, (as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) to offer or expose tickets for sale.

Please DO NOT engage with these people - please REPORT any threads/posts offering tickets for sale in case we've not caught them.
    Thanks!

Summer 25 Transfer Window!!!

Cunha is unlikely, if it ever was with the noises he is making and the alleged clubs that are in for him.

I'd go for Mbeumo instead (50ish might be enough) plus JPM.

Wouldn't say no to Wissa but Brentford are unlikely to sell both in the same window.

Wood, JPM, Mbeumo, CHO and Elanga, with Sosa/Jota for depth.

Perhaps another cheap 3rd striker, a young upcoming or an old hand still able to do a job would complete the picture up front.
Would love Mbueno, but think he's out of our league at the moment. If Salah hadn't signed a new contract, I reckon Liverpool would have been in for him. Think, if he does leave in the summer, he'll go to a top European club.

Think Wissa would also be a great signing for us: more mobile than Wood, but very good finisher. Would give us a bit more flexibility up front.

Read in a couple of places this week we are looking at our old loanee Andrey Santos, who has been in fine form with Strasbourg since breaking through.

Unsurprisingly, one report suggested he isn't keen after his earlier loan spell.

If there's one area we need to improve on, it's definitely in central midfield.

Yep, people love going on about how possession is overrated but we don't half love turning over possession with poor passing in the middle, far too often for my liking. Not just the passing that's the issue, it's individual player's ability to protect the ball and keep calm under a press. Definitely improvements to be made there. I'd also argue having a left footed left back to compete with Aina and Williams for a start would be a great way of giving us more attacking threat. Not an easy player type to find though, especially the level we need. Maatsen cost £40m.

Centre mid is arguable the only position which hasn't been cemented at any point all season

We have Anderson but between them the other 4 haven't made a good enough case to start every week - Yates & Dom have had very good individual periods (you don't get to the position we have been with a clear weak spot in that area) but haven't made the position their own.

Wasn’t the maatsen deal one of the dodgy ffp ones to get Chelsea over?

I'm increasingly convinced we could do worse then look at Moise Kean. He's having a blinding season and displays all the qualities of a top CF for a counter attacking team. He's rapid too. I don't know what Palladino has done to turn him into a footballer but it worked.

We have been briefly linked with him before, although not much concrete.

Is that the lad that went to Everton too early from inter? Always a player in there...

Edit: it was but from Juve. Still only 25!

That's him. He's been useless until this year where it just seems to have clicked. He was always quick but found himself in the wrong place to start with or couldn't dig it out of feet but this year his movement has been excellent and his finishing likewise.

Interesting career - can't believe he's a one in three career record. Seems like he's missfired a lot other than this year and a good one for psg a while back.

No to Palhinha, one of the most overrated players I can remember. First touch is Championship level. Fulham sold him at the right time, he'd turn the ball over so often in this season's prem. Noticed how much better Fulham are with Berge instead? We need a midfielder who can shield and protect the ball under pressure, and pass under pressure. Jobe Bellingham for me, although he's not tested in the prem, true.

Doucoure is slowing down and might not be such a bargain. Not a bad shout though.

McAtee is fantastic.

Spence is a no brainer if available but that would be 3 right footed full backs!

Delap yes, obviously.

Palmer not a bad shout
