Plus there is opportunity here for youngsters. You’ve got to get experience somehow. We might lose CHO and Elanga. Ndala may have to play some minutes. Our game plan may suit him to a tee. Moreira may have to plays some minutes. If it works out as you said quite rightly that me and summer we will be in such a great position. With our first season of the prem being wiped off the booksThe downside at the moment is we are risking it but the upside is we will be in such a strong financial position going into this window, that is not including potential prize money & the carrot of European football (hopefully CL) which will help attract players that we have really struggled with.
105m loss limit automatically applies, 30m potential prize money - already added about 45m on the books we didn’t have last year. Money we didn’t spend this year that was there, If we get CL as well we will double our revenue next season.
It’s all about who we can attract, we have morphed into a quality over quantity club now and quality we are after is expensive now. I am desperate for us to get over the line this season as this summer could be a game changer, can’t wait.
Pretty sure next season is the start of the new regulations 85% of Revenue spent on wages and amortisation. Or 70% in EuropePlus there is opportunity here for youngsters. i doubt their stint at oly will impact what will happen next season when they come back for pre season. New season, fresh start and Stamenic will have 2 of his international mates which will make his transition easier.
Rio Ave shoe in as it stands! Carmo I wonder about for us...If he's not pulling up any trees at Oly he's not gonna make it here. Be surprised if Stamenic doesn't find himself in Portugal next season
