Summer 25 Transfer Window!!!

We are well stocked in strikers now, Tiawo having scored 10 in 7 games at the back end of the last season.

Salah as a free agent? Plenty of rotation needed for all those cup games.

The downside at the moment is we are risking it but the upside is we will be in such a strong financial position going into this window, that is not including potential prize money & the carrot of European football (hopefully CL) which will help attract players that we have really struggled with.

105m loss limit automatically applies, 30m potential prize money - already added about 45m on the books we didn’t have last year. Money we didn’t spend this year that was there, If we get CL as well we will double our revenue next season.

It’s all about who we can attract, we have morphed into a quality over quantity club now and quality we are after is expensive now. I am desperate for us to get over the line this season as this summer could be a game changer, can’t wait.

Plus there is opportunity here for youngsters. You’ve got to get experience somehow. We might lose CHO and Elanga. Ndala may have to play some minutes. Our game plan may suit him to a tee. Moreira may have to plays some minutes. If it works out as you said quite rightly that me and summer we will be in such a great position. With our first season of the prem being wiped off the books 🥹🥹🥹

Pretty sure next season is the start of the new regulations 85% of Revenue spent on wages and amortisation. Or 70% in Europe

Just to complete a 12 month drawn out anti-climax Forest will sign zero players in Summer 2025.

Interesting article from Percy this morning.
Seems Wissa very much in our sights in the Summer…

According to the John Percy article - Plans for the Summer are advanced.

GK - Sels, Miguel
RB - Aina - Hopefully
CB - Milenkovic
CB - Murillo, Morato
LB - Williams
CM - Danilo, Dominguez, Yates
CM - Anderson, Sangare
LW - CHO, Sosa
CAM - MGW
RW - Elanga, Jota
ST - Wood, Awoniyi

19 players.

Moreira and Abbott - U21s

Looking at the squad there. The Targets will be pretty obvious. Competition for Left Back and Right Back, A Right Sided Centre Back, A Striker, Ideally another Forward option that can play on the Wing and where MGW plays. Probably a Midfielder especially if we get Europe.
5-6 signings.

Moreno, Toffolo, Boly, Hennessey all will leave
Panzo and Bowler will leave from the fringe players
Richards, Dennis, O'Brien, Turner are the only ones left to get rid of.
Carmo and Stamenic come back to but I assume they will leave.

Stamenic and carmo coming back on loan will be like new signings. Stamenic is only 22 , signed for 5 years, will no doubt be part of the squad. carmo is 25, also signed for 5 years and he like milenkovic. is 6 ft 5". Our central defence and midfield is set. In the summer, we should be looking at leftback, winger and striker. carmo plays for angola so we can add him to our club of international stars.

Judging by Stamenic's performances chances are he's bomb squaded more than anything else.

Jury out on Carmo but permanent switch to Oly most likely.

i doubt their stint at oly will impact what will happen next season when they come back for pre season. New season, fresh start and Stamenic will have 2 of his international mates which will make his transition easier.
