Wilder feels totally unattainable, but given the current malaise, he's the only name that gets your attention. Having your best ball players in defence also seems to fit.

More likely Murphys got something in mind out of left field, in some ways I hope he has given his success at Barnsley. Wherever we go we need to go there quickly, no time for 3 year builds, Murphy needs to step up with a contingency.

To be honest I think it makes sense to get the ball rolling on Murphy’s plan anyway. Didn’t see the point of having this new club ‘identity’ and having a manager at odds with it for another season. Tge new guy comes in knowing the score and has a clear instruction. Roll the dice now.

Last night Danny Taylor said Wilder and Terry were red herrings, which sounds like either there's a clear first choice he's heard about or somebody is already ready to take the reins ASAP.

Either that, or they both smell like fish?

Which might not be unreasonable in John Terry‘s case.

I think he was codding. Alladyce is coming. Big Salmon his assistant will save us. He'd get a tuna outta these players.

I reckon Murphy is lining up a targeted manager and that is taking a little time to get agreed behind the scenes. Only reason I can think of why Hughton isn't gone already.

Sounds like a load of codswallop to me. If I had a squid for every time he was linked...

If Hughton goes, there's plenty more fish in the sea. I'm sure we'll be casting our net far and wide.

What's Tony Pulis up to these days?

Or, depending on which of our CEOs gets his way, Antonios Pulisios or Antony von Puliser.

Alex Neil anyone

His names come up, feels like his career is on a downward trajectory since Hamilton.

Without being 100% sure, think he likes to counter attack at pace, using quick passing, if thats true, he hasnt much to work with. Although he is used to working on tight budgets which helps here.

Murphys got to come up with someone he feels will organise & drill the current playing staff. Neill doesnt look an obvious candidate.(which could work in his favour)

That plan's lasted about as long as every other limp wristed Greek venture here. IMO Murphy's here to shape the club up for a sale and little more now.

Like most managers, he got give f*** all priority signings and the Pea-faced fuckwitt started getting involved the first chance he got. He's already had his authority undermined, and the plan of "new identity" is just another Greek smokescreen to shut fans up whilst they sell up.

#NFFC confirm Steven Reid will take temporary charge of the first team as interim head coach.

 Have we even started looking yet?

Judging by the MON/Sabri interlude, we'll have found him by 9.30.

He or his agent fed to their mate Nixon that he is available and willing should the job become available only about a week ago.

You could be right. But at least it will unravel if not the case.

Out of work managers always watch the teams most likely to sack their manager. It’s just common sense innit? I imagine he’ll apply for it at least

Well, exactly - I just know that by posting it, someone will now say that it's a done deal (either here or elsewhere).
