Referee analyst ... really ?

What.... what exactly is he supposed to do?
According to Nuno he's going to advise us where the obvious errors of VAR were.

Gladiator Referee, Mark Clattenburg.

Weird.

But let’s hope he does a better job than the free kick specialist.
Maybe they've been making the attacking training so realistic to mirror the games that they're not giving any free kicks away in training

Ward-Prowse did get one shot.

But anyway I was thinking more about the ones we take.

And wtf was that thing in the first half where we tried a “clever” free kick on the right and gave it away resulting in MGW getting a yellow for having to make a last ditch tackle?

I meant we've not been allowing to attacking free kicks in training for realism as the refs give us F all in the games. I was just being sarcastic.

No idea about the one you mentioned, it was farcical again. We're absolutely pony with the invention and execution of attacking set pieces

I can see the logic in using a retired referee as a consultant, especially if there are rule changes etc. Outside of that, I can't see what difference it will make, unless we're genuinely trying to make a case for big club bias (which is pretty much impossible to prove), and use that politically somehow.

I also can't see why it's news at all. Similar to all those PGMOL complaints that make the headlines, we could've done this quietly without it being a news story, unless we genuinely are trying to apply pressure somewhere.

Edit: also, I'll tell you what refs love and definitely doesn't affect their bias; they love getting official complaints and knowing a team has a referee analyst who'll highlight any human error they make after the match.

He’s just going to advise us on how to bollock the PGMOL when we get yet another shit decision.

It might even put pressure on the officials to get it correct as we have a former ref on the payroll to analyse their performance.

Clattenburg probably knows where Howard Webb lives, as well.

It’s a very good job Forest don’t have anyone even remotely associated with them in any capacity whatsoever who might have been even vaguely accused in the past of intimidating officials!

There will be a game, one day soon; A decision will go against us. Fans will be outraged and expect the club do something. They will demand it.

Clattenberg will have have told the club the decision was correct. The club will do nothing. Fans will hate Clattenberg; the snake in the grass.

Marinakis will sack him. Clattenberg will thank Marinakis for paying up his contract.

No one will feel better.

Maybe Battenberg knows some of the other refs dodgy secrets and the threat of disclosure will be enough to switch some of the decisions our way. KGB style - okay with me if it works.

There was an old football game (can't remember which) where before a match it would tell you the refs traits, straight red for a tackle from behind etc
Referee analyst makes me think he'l be analysing the refs to see how they react to situations. Maybe some won't book people in the first 5 mins so then we know we can be more robust early on etc. Or some always book people for any tug on the shirt so we need to be careful of doing that with that ref.
If it's nothing to do with that (which it probably won't be) then i have no clue what he'l be doing

I think forest have to put pressure on for the audio from Saturdays decision because I can't get my head around it there is incompetent then there is Saturday I find it hard to believe the EPL is genuinely corrupt but there really is not explanation for that to be viewed and not given.
Saying that if there is corruption there they can quickly record sone audio that fits
