Premier League Loan Options

We need a loudmouth, simple as. Pearce has assembled a team of nice guys and top personalities but look at all the sucessful Captains. Keane, Pearce, Terry, Totti you could go on. They're all loudmouth boggers who manage the team on the pitch and help guide positioning. I didn't see anyone taking the team by the scruff of their necks and directing them. I imagined Vaughan could do it, but he seems fairly quiet! I've seen Hobbs do it, and I'm certain he would be in the team ahead of Wilson, but until him or Reid are back we need that voice!

Every team needs a McKenna. It just shows what an important signing McKenna was when we got him, despite never grabbing any headlines, he was debatabley our most important player during our two most successful seasons in the Championship in recent years.

Could not disagree more. McKenna could not pass a football. Most over-rated player in a Forest shirt.

I understand what you're saying but I don't see a loudmouthed loanee as something we need. We just require something forward thinking, someone who can play without fear in this division and dictate what's happening in the centre midfield. I wouldn't mind if they never speak as long as they get us scoring again and help us back to winning ways.

Someone who talks with their feet will do just fine. Grealish or Gnabry please, Uncle Fawazington

Disappointed that we're having to resort to loans, but if it gets us going again I don't really care.

Feel obligated to suggest Geddy & Billy Sharp :p

We need both IMO. Leadership & Creativity are our two most absent attributes at the mo. Given the choice I'd go for Leadership because I think we have the players to be creative already here like Pato.

Ain't Henri supposed to be a bit of both?

What we need is Andy Reid.

Unfortunately he is broken.

So we need to find, in the loan market, a player who can take that role - be the playmaker, the out-ball, pick a pass and bring others in to play.

To me, that's what we are missing from our team at the moment.

I don't think the 2 are mutually exclusive. I think they do need direction and someone who's not afraid of pointing out positioning. Several times on Saturday I saw players looking for each other and struggling to regain their positioning after we conceded. This comes with confidence and experience and I believe Henri can do what you say in dictating play, if given that structure leadership.

I take your point. And as Alf says, we seem to have the quality here already. Just need someone to galvanise things.
Maybe Gueddy and Abdoun will solve our problems.

He wasn't in the team to do fancy passes though. He broke up the play, protected the back four and was a massive leader on the field. It was no shock to me that our form dipped as soon as he picked up that bad injury.
