Pearce did mention about possible loans after the injuries, this article explores 5 options - they seem sensible and not too outlandish

If we're after a centre-mid on loan, I think Lewis Baker would be a very good shout. However, does that send a good message to Osborn? I think Guedioura would be a good move as whilst it maybe tells Osborn... etc that we don't think they're ready for such responsibility yet, it doesn't rub their noses in it by loaning someone just as young as them instead. Plus I think he'd fit into our system easily.

Tesche seems a solid, reliable player, so I'm more than happy with him. The emergency loan market seems to cause more disruption than anything else.

yes, but who is cover in case Tesche goes down? assuming the worst and Cohen is out for the season and Reidy is out for a few months, that would leave us with Tesche, Lansbury, Osborn, McLaughlin and Vaughan, which would probably be ok for just the 2 central midfield spots, but if we plan to be using 3 in the middle quite often, then i think another MC would be needed

Lewis Baker is a good shout. That lad is pure quality.

I would like us to rebuild our relationship with Chelsea after Davies crushed them. Chelsea have a huge pool of players and it can only be a good thing having good relations.

The way Chelsea use the loan system is a joke. Its like championship manager (football manager for the youngsters). Good article from the Guardian on this

A loan player would be a good idea. We have already lost 2 players, we don't want a repeat of last season.

From that list Baker seems the most likely. I seem to remember us being linked with him quite strongly in pre-season so wouldn't be surprised to see it.

Yea I agree, we don't want more disruptive loans, we want our own players and we have Tesche who has come in and done well, plus Vaughan coming back, Lansbury and Osborn who can all play central mid, even in Cohen and Reid's absence. No need for anyone else

Burke, Paterson and Antonio are irrelevant because they are wingers, we're talking about central midfielders, that leaves 7, I said if the worst comes to pass with reid, so that brings us down to 6 for a while, that leaves Tesche, Lansbury and Vaughan as starters in a midfield 3, which is fine, but Vaughan is injury prone and not 100% fit, if we can bring someone in as cover until Reidy is fit, we should, if hes out for a while

I cant see why we cant get Scott Sinclair in on loan. Drop Lansbury back into midfield, and put Sinclair in behind Assombolonga. Reckon he'd be glad of the playing time and would cover a few positions over the next few months.

Vaughan, Tesche and Mancienne are all good options, but if we play MM there we need another centre half. If Guediora is available its a no-brainer. The team immediately improved when he signed and fell apart when he left.
