After the first win of the season last Friday night, with Taiwo and Chris showing that they are both top-tier strikers, and Matt Turner basically telling Hendo there is no point coming to Forest while I'm here, the team visits a rather troubled ManUre. Owners hated by fans, but seemingly not willing to sell the club because why would they want to kill the goose that lays those golden eggs? ManUre for all their history and debt are struggling to get a team together. However, last season we played them 4 times and conceded 12 times without a single goal "for". To get a point on Saturday will be a big achievement. To come away with a win would possibly displace the European Cup winning teams from the title " Miracle Men", and reserve a place in heaven for Steve Cooper, at Sir Brian's right hand.
I have prepared a poll: I wonder if following Bonfy's advice I can get it to post.

If we’re ever going to get a win at Old Trafford then the time is now.

The odds may be stacked against us but it will happen.

I’m going for 0-1. The ball spinning off Wood’s arse. 🤣

Elanga will shine.

I could have done with your help here last week: my SSD blew up and my desk top was silent to me for a few days following a power cut, and power surge when power was restored to the village.
Apparantly, I can't sue western Power because I ought to have known I needed a surge protector.
Anyway, back up and running with a new SSD (C: drive)... and a surge protector.

Real cagey affair, backs to the wall stuff at times, but Utd’s resistance will be broken by the 60 minute mark……

0-2……our number 9 and MGW 😍

A good preview,Captain-but I’ll cheer you up-we only conceded 10 goals against United last season 😁

The only team who truly fiddled with us in every outing last season. Those 4 fixtures were the only real times that i was a bit baffled by Coops tactics, instead of sitting in deep like we had done against everyone else in the "Big 6" he consistently went toe to toe against the one team that loves and does a counter attack better and more consistently than us and we got murdered by it everytime. Wayne Hennessey didn't help matters.

We can't go toe to toe, i'd actually like to see a more pragmatic approach than last year. They commit so many men forward leaving huge amounts of space in the midfield leaving Casemiro on his own and its making him look like an old man all of a sudden. MGW was the first player in the league i seen that gave Casemiro problems in those games.

I'm hopeful that we'll get a point at least. Wolves thrashed by Brighton at the weekend should have had a point at Old Trafford. Manure were shit against Spurs......so a good time to play them.

Can't see us getting anything despite United being poor so far this season. We are still a work in progress ourselves. Think we'll give a better account of ourselves than last season though, much like we did against Arsenal.

2-1 United. Taiwo to score again for us.

I can see us getting something from this game, we've had a couple of weeks to get players settled, some may seem to have their heads up in the clouds and the back 3/4 isn't still where we would like to be, but there have been more positives.
Defence now possibly coming back, Elanger match fit? With Manure not yet firing on all cylinders yet I can see us getting a draw here and possibly more if Coops plays the changes early enough during the game

Utd stole that game against Wolves and got slapped about by Spurs.

So now is probably a decent time to face them.

A draw would be an absolutely amazing result for us. And possible by Yatesy showing Casemiro who's boss. ;)

Hendo in goal will mess up a goal kick, straight to Wood who will score with a bullet header from 35 yards, 1-0 bish bosh ;)

(& if that happens I will run semi naked through the streets of Wrexham)

It's a good time to play this lot, as they haven't got going yet. They missed a hatful of glorious chances in the defeat to Spurs at the weekend, so don't expect them to be nullified up top.

We failed to lay a glove on them in four attempts last year. Hopefully we improve on that, but really I'm just happy we're getting these away games out of the way early on.
