I think the goalkeeping area is the one where we've got weaker and weaker since letting Samba go. I think it is time for a spell on the sidelines for Turner now as well. We can't gauge much from a game like today, but we made it far too easy for Liverpool with stupid errors. Without them the game might have not been dead and buried with 20 minutes to go.

We were short on fit attacking options, I don't think it would have been wise to risk Awonyi in a game like today which is probably we had no threat until very late on. As I said last week due to the dropped points against Luton we are going to have to ride the storm abit now, I don't see us having a good November with how tough the fixtures are. Hopefully we will have alot of options to pick from squad depth wise in December because there is a run of winnable games then which will actually determine if we will be in another long season battle which I'm nailing my colours and saying we won't, we will improve as the season goes on again imo.

Well... thought we did ok at times but ultimately conceding the second killed any hope. Random thoughts:

Dominguez, while not at his very best today, is a fantastic pickup.

Sangare could do with being nastier - thought he looked leggy after the whack on the head, though on a few occasions he let them play through when he could have taken the foul for the team. Couple of very nice distance passes from him.

Elanga worked his socks off feeding on scraps - he deserved the one that hit the bar going in for that alone.

Nice to see Taiwo back, though shit news that a half fit T replaces a now unfit Wood.

Gakpo - why noone took the opportunity to smash him is why modern football isn't as fun - I thought Serge might but alas.

Turner/Toffolo: what a mess. I blame Toffs because I've made it clear I don't rate him and thought Turner played pretty well otherwise.

Stephen Warnock - I hope I never gave to hear that twat commentate again: What a bell end.

Coops: I thought at the hour mark that there was something to play for here - he rolled the dice but ultimately it didn't work out. No shame in that.

A loss away against a top three side - is that all of them bar the fake ones (Spurs) played now? Be interesting to compare returns from the same fixtures last year. Maybe I will if someone hasnt already...
once sangare got the yellow , he was on a tightrope, he cannot take another foul for the team,

Der Drater makes me look like a a foam hand-waving happy clapper 😆

Fair play to Der Drater and anyone else coming on and having their say though. Healthy debate from both sides of the argument is what keeps it interesting, despite the usual cliques getting wound up by anyone having a difference of opinion.
I get pelters for being brave enough to tell the truth and think differently to the herd.
This place needs a balanced opinion, not all being happy clappy.

Fair enough, everyone's entitled to their opinion, and is entitled to share it here.

I did something I never do today and didn't bother watching the second half. However I was sat there in our Argentina away shirt, in a bar in Alicante, surrounded by Liverpool fans and I saw no way back into it....drank my beer and f*cked off after the ref blew for half time. Didn't wanna be around gloating Liverpool fans. That opening 45 was dull dull dull. Did we at least have a go second half?

I thrive on the negativity tbh. I’ve seen it all, rinse and repeat. Equally it’s not happy clappy to counter every honest negative post, you simply have to look at the bigger picture for a balanced view. Forest’s success needs to be sustainable and that means the manager isn’t going to go from zero to top half in two seasons..

Think of 5 seasons and one billion worth of investment. Then complain

When arteta went to arsenal they were bottom of the league at one time and so called fans were tearing up season tickets.
I'm glad we have got an owner with vision

The problem here is one man's truth is another man's lie.
You do not tell the truth you post your opinion which is fine but it is only the truth to you.
The issue I always have with the couple of guys that I don't need to name is that they are constantly negative is just that there is no let up. Even if we have a good win they will bang on about the bad points instead of just enjoying the moment. The sort of guys you really wouldn't want to spend a night on the town with.

Ok, so the FFTV bots have turned up. Negative posts get treated two ways depending if they come with disappointment or glee. When the beautiful and brave truth tellers expand beyond their youtube circle jerk it becomes fairly obvious to tell the difference

If others are happy clappers and unbalanced.

What makes you balanced and not a doom monger?

"Telling the truth" and then totally contradicting that "truth" a matter of minutes later isn't how sensible people would interpret a "balanced opinion".
To be fair, they probably think giving a balanced opinion is saying A and then saying the opposite to make sure everything is in balance.....

I think Sangare is getting some unnecessary flack.

When Fabinho joined Liverpool the first 6 months were attrocious,he was so bad it made the £35million spent on Andy Caroll look like it was worth it.

He'll come good if he has the right attitude,he had all the qualities needed to be a good PL midfielder.
Don't get these player coming good examples, it's irrelevant. Some players fit straight in, some take time and some just turn out to be duds, there's examples for every scenario that can be quoted.

Let's hope he does come good, he's cost us a lot of money (in forest terms) and he was welcome addition when he signed as midfield is an area we desperately needed to improve.

So far he hasn't impressed me, he's lethargic at times, doesn't track and tackle how I'd hoped and offers next to nothing going forward. I honestly believe Yates currently offers more in all aspects and should be playing.

I was delighted when he signed, and am still hoping he's going to be the player we thought we were getting, needs dropping for now though.
