We don’t know that this season, we haven’t faced any top teams at home yet, All we’ve done so far is struggle against supposed relegation fodder.
Which is actually better than we did last season.
Villa is our first big test at home, this is where our real atmosphere should roar out and we can get a good judge of where we are at.
Have some faith will you? We just lost to Liverpool away In the premier league what do fans expect.
We have already played Arsenal, City, United, Liverpool & Chelsea away from home and have 10 points on the board 5 points clear of the bottom 3.
We are getting better and will kick on from here, have faith. COYR

We're rubbish.timid, kick and rush football with no composure or talent at all.
And Turner needs leaving on the M5 somewhere so we can't ever find him again.
Would you rather us be back rotting in mid table in the championship for another decade?
This is our second season in the Premier League in 23 years, we have clearly improved on last season, stop being so negative over a result that most likely all other 19 teams in the Prem also end up with.
This team thrives off support, you could argue that is what kept us up last season, so I suggest you get behind the team and have faith in the man who pulled us out of the shit, instead of trashing us after losing to f***ing Liverpool away.

Totally this.only a fool can't see that.
With a different manager and ideas this squad should be top 6.no excuses.
Pathetic how we never tried to attack and set out to defend from the start. We should be attacking teams like liverpool rather than cowering in our penalty area
Yeah. Cooper hasn't won us a single Champions league yet. Embarrassing

Make no mistake. he will be fuming.and rightly so.
Cooper is on thin ice now.
Must win next two games or big m will be looking elsewhere.
Rightly so?? Behave yourself.

What exactly do you expect. Long way to go. Anyone throwing toys out the pram because we lost away at Liverpool with a threadbare attacking team needs their head checking.

The reason WE stayed up last season when Leicester and Leeds were better than us was unity. If fans' perspectives change so much that our benchmark becomes unachievable we lose that unity and, mark my words, Luton and the like will be more than a match for a team sacking managers and disrupting a changing room.

People need to remember 15th or 16th again this season would be absolutely fine.

We've had a mixed bag this season so far: playing badly and getting beat, playing badly and winning, playing well and losing, playing well and winning.

It's not particularly awe inspiring but it's better than what the four teams below us have put together both in terms of results and performance.

Brighton battled relegation for four years before becoming the side they are known for now. It takes time to adapt at this level.

We beat all the relegated teams at home last season, so that isn't true. I agree Villa is a massive test, but if we lose it will be brushed off is what do you expect it's Villa they are brilliant. We have an awful record against West Ham away. So I can't see anything against them.

We had a crazy set of fixtures to start the season with the hardest away and the easiest at home. We've been disappointing that we have not taken advantage of our home fixtures, and only looked any good against Luton for 80 minutes.

We'd have taken a draw today as a great result. Obviously we lost but I'd say if Murrilo hadn't had a rush of blood and lost the ball we don't concede that first goal. The third goal doesn't happen if we've got our heads screwed on the right way, which just leaves the second, and with a stroke of luck Elanga puts one of his chances away.

All conjecture clearly but it's silly mistakes costing us, we battled well and created half chances, with better passing we'd create more against a very good side. All is not lost.

Sadly, it was always the case keeping the score down with the way we set up. I'm torn between completely accepting that due to the personnel available and being frustrated that we didn't at least give it a go until we were 3 down. The players seemed to play with fear today. I thought we were over that now but the old traits of panicking and giving the ball up easily came to the fore again.

I don't think we are in danger of relegation due to the dross in the league this year but I think Marinakis will start asking some questions very soon if we don't see some improvement over the coming games. What's likely to happen is we see out the season pretty comfortably and a decision is made at that point over how quickly he wants progress and if he think Cooper can deliver that.

Well, I know for the position we’re in, and a still very new squad, if we’re in a relegation battle come the end of the season, I’d much rather have Cooper as manager than Sergio Georgini.
And we’re one win away from being in the top half.
Sergio Georgini... So..

Post of the day! In fact, you've won the internet for today

I think you’ve got some competition showing up here Omar !!

Der Drater makes me look like a a foam hand-waving happy clapper 😆

Fair play to Der Drater and anyone else coming on and having their say though. Healthy debate from both sides of the argument is what keeps it interesting, despite the usual cliques getting wound up by anyone having a difference of opinion.

Plenty of negativity in here being given the time of day. Someone who claims that this side should be top 6 gets the dismissive comments they deserve.
