My eyesight must be failing me as I still can't see a deadline on when this is by, can you point it out to me please by what year?

It's only yourself and others which are setting deadlines or using "trusted" sources to set a deadline and then using that as a stick to bash him with when he sacks managers/changes players etc.
I don't see the point in engaging with you if you are going to discount an increasing body of press reports all saying much the same thing, one definitely referring to this season.

We'll have to agree to disagree as I have no desire to argue with you. I've got plenty of fellow Forest supporters here I can do that with if I really want.

Just look at how many managers he's fired from both Forest and Oly since he's taken us over. He fired an Oly manager after about 4 games.
Not interested in what he does at Olympiakos but how many managers has he sacked at Forest who didn't deserve it, I can really only think of SC and at a push Mark Warburton who to be fair hasn't really done much since

It could be argued that he should've sacked the likes of Lamouchi & Houghton sooner

I've literally just posted you the article you asked for, not made any statement about it or deadlines.

My eyesight must be failing me, please state where I have said anything about a deadline or where I am using this top 10 quote to bash him?

That's fair, but it was widely reported he wanted Cooper Sacked after Leics away last season but didn't due to fear of fan rebellion. EM doesn't do sentiment, he works is cold hard facts and he won't have seen Nuno do anything that warrants keeping him, or at least wording up potential replacements.

You're correct EM isn't at all the sentimental type so if he wanted to sack SC after the Leicester game then he would've done

🤣🤣 Funnily enough if I wanted to fall out with anyone I'd speak to my wife,I'm not seeking to argue with anyone either.

I'm not discounting any articles and apologies if the above came across as confrontational but it's still not provided me with any direct quote with a deadline in it,just want to end target is.

The goals we where leaking at the start of the season wasn’t down to goalkeeping howlers.
Also Nuno has the same amount of goals conceded but has got a lot more goals from the team. Yes the keeper is shite but Cooper played in a way to maximise his shitness as well. Cooper didnt help him out at all by playing a low block so much.

I've always said we've gotta keep Nuno but answers like this solidify that belief even more ❤️

I’m starting to like him a lot more.
If we stay up he deserves next season, I think we have a lot of potential.

I know people wish we got Glasner but once his teams get figured out he has no plan B.
Nuno has already proven he can maintain a top half PL team.

See the above posts regarding VAR and points deductions. They don't just cause tangible issues, it has an effect on everyone mentally. The set piece issue has also been the live grenade that we've never been able to pick up and throw away. We would have seen a much better return this season without this.
And Nuno has done nothing to address it and if rumour is to be believed has actively sidelined the set piece coach

Back now - suitably refreshed chilli washed down with a nice glass of Merlot.
Now what was the question?
As per my original mail - most importantly - last season we gained a lot of points at home against the bottom 5 - this year we played them all early doors and got one win against Blunts.
Simply not good enough and probably the reason SC was sacked.
The promoted teams from last season are dire - but as above we didn’t beat them at home. Add those 6 points and there are no problems.
Also - a new manager with new ideas - it takes a bit of time.

Your opinion is valid of course.
I just think, long term, we are moving in the right direction with the nucleons of a good squad and a manager who knows how to succeed in this league.
Well thank you for not realising who you were replying too.

Did we gain a lot of points against the bottom 5? Lets see:

Bottom last season:
Southampton, points 6

Bottom this season:
Sheffield Utd, points 6

2nd Bottom last season:
Leeds: points 3

2nd bottom this season:
Burnley: points 1 with 1 game to go

3rd bottom last season:
Leicester: points 3

3rd bottom this season:
Luton: points 2

4th bottom last season:
Everton: points 2

4th bottom this season
Us, but well against Everton 0

5th Bottom last season:
Us so take Everton where we got 2 points

5th bottom this season:
Brentford: points 1

So ignoring us against the bottom 5 we managed 16 points last season and this season we have managed 10 points so far with a game to play. It's hardly a great gap is it? Aren't we a team with AMBITION!

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner said his side's 4-0 win over Manchester United "was amazing"

"It was the fourth game in a row where the other team didn't have 10 shots. This is what we want to do to control the game with a compact defensive shape," he told BBC Sport.

"We know when we get our players in dangerous areas they are able to score goals."

……..compact defensively, break with quality. That’s the formula for Nuno as well, just not quite there yet…..

Bin VAR!
Think next season will throw up some surprises

palace loose olise and eze
bretford loose toney
new manager at the hammers
how good / bad will Ipswich be
leicester points deduction
everton administration
can bournmouth perform again
new manager at Brighton?
can wolves go again with oneil
play off winner is always a hard gig

Then what do we do, MGW, Murillo, Points again, stick with NES? All assuming we stay up of course!

I dont need a summer break. I am I already raring for the transfer window to close and see what NES can do.

Maybe I am a self-harmer, but I am wishing my life away for next season.

I don't have a text from Marinakis directly to me that I can quote

That's not good enough Erik I'm afraid. You need to put up with the evidence or shut up.

On the plus side, when Marinakis eventually fires Nuno because we're 15th next year and others are having a whinge about it, you can just simply retort with "no one really knows why Marinakis did it unless they have a direct quote."

Hmm, sounds a bit too defensive for this top ten squad.

Even your glass must be half full this morning captain! 3 points, sun shining and the house to yourself! 🍺
It is 10/10ths cloud cover at the moment.
However, ysterday was a belting day.
The daughter drove off to stop with her partner overnight in Leicester, before she drives back to Bournemouth today.
We walked the hound in the pleasantly warm, but not too hot, early morning, and then I set up the sunbed for a bit of well-earned sun-bathing.
I'd overlooked the fact the hound is a Weimaraner, hence of German extraction:

When it felt inevitable Cooper was going to be sacked, Glasner was the one who I was genuinely intrigued/excited about of all the names that were linked. He will do very well at Palace.

If, and only if, Nuno's heart is really in the job then I would like him to stay on for another season. At times we've shown some exciting attacking play under him.

His first priority should be sorting out our defence from set pieces. If we can master that seemingly not so difficult art then we'll be comfortable next season.
