I know that Nuno that I know that Nuno that I know
Turner f**ked up by not setting the wall up properly. That let Brentford back into the game.
Still our best option though

He literally did do things wrong with his feet. Planting it into the stand whilst under no pressure and getting you're feet in such a muddle that you almost give the ball away in the area is neither disingenuous to point out or acceptable for a PL keeper who constantly does it
I agree he looks so unatural receiving the ball then puts himself under pressure choses the wrong balls to play and just puts us back under pressure constantly its horrible to watch

The wall was set up incorrectly in the first place…we made it easy for him.

To compound this Yates (I think) instructed Turner to move further to his right, Toney moved the ball, Yates jumped in (instead of straight up) and it was a simple goal and gift to Brentford. It changed the game and was completely avoidable. If it’s anyone’s fault, it’s Ryan Yates.

Turner was better, but miles off being good enough to be our No.1.

Looks like our set-piece coach has improved our ability to score, but not to defend.

Why is Yates doing his best Kouyate impression anyway.

Surely we’ve seen enough to have a view on aggregate of both of them, without needing to mark them in each game. Turner was definitely better/fine today, but I think we’ve all seen his ceiling. Neither have a net positive impact on the team. That can’t have escaped the notice of the people that count.

If we don’t bolster that department then it’s a big gamble, or a hard stare at FFP.

I mean this with every fiber of my being, if we keep either of these two in goal, we are going down.
We have four international goalkeepers at this club, for Greece, US and Wales respectively and I'd feel more comfortable with George Shelvey in goal.

I dont care about us signing a forward or a left back or whatever else this window. Just get us a f***ing keeper that can save and kick a football. I'm not asking for Manuel Neuer or Van Der Sar, just give someone that can do the basics well.

I don't rate Tina but he set his wall up OK. The issue was that the officials missed Brett Maverick illegally moving the ball, as well as drawing his own white line to fool the ref.

It all happened as Yates was talking to Tina, but surely someone else in the wall spotted it and should have kicked off.

Tina did ok but kicking still a huge issue.

As far as goalkeepers who we have at the club, He's simply the best.

A lot has been made of Toney moving the ball and as much as I despise the whole 'war hero' narrative surrounding Toney, we should have been set up to defend that position.

Nuno has gone from Turner to Vach to Turner. Appreciate that Vach was bought in for the cup games, but what do you do for Bristol, go back to Vach and then back to Turner for Arsenal? It creates too much inconsistency to keep switching like this. We simply have to buy another keeper in this transfer window or get one on loan; I don't think we need to spend massive amounts to improve the situation.

I agree DB. I'm comfortable we've got enough within the rest of the personnel to stay up but I think we're going down with either of these in goal.

I think it's so desperate that I'd rather we use whatever overall budget we have to lump in on a new keeper.

Surely this can't be escaping Nuno as an ex keeper himself
