Don't we need English academy trained prospects for our European squad if we manage it ? I'm guessing that we're seeing if he's good enough for that option.

How dare i have the bollocks to declare Deadline Day over before the window slammed shut, nice little hit before sleep from the Big Man.

Very Doku-ish, and with CHO and Elanga to learn from you'd be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this deal.

I do

The guys played like five games in his whole professional career

I know it's Exeter but playing this guy in any way shape or form would be utterly stupid IMO
The same way it was ridiculous to bring Zack Abbot on for his debut at 18?

The only way they'll ever play games is by playing games.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with bringing a younger player on for a run out for the last 15/20 mins if the game is already won. It's quite literally the opposite of being stupid when it comes to player development.

Sorry Notcher I disagree

No way he gets anywhere near even the bench for me

You don't have to send him on and I suspect we won't want to risk CHO in that game after injury.

Moreira was another one that got a few run outs when he probably wasn't ready.

You have to give the odd younger player an opportunity off the bench at some point unless you're prepared to constantly fork out massive fees for first team ready players.

Blooding them in a cup game in a scenario with little pressure if you're winning comfortably is the perfect way to see how they get on.

f*** me - can we at least wait until he's put on a pair of f***ing boots and stepped on the training pitch for the coaches to see him in the flesh before we, from the comfort of our keyboards, start theorising about whether he can kick a ball and if the manager will like him of not!!

As I said Notcher, I don't agree, so let's agree to disagree on this one

Tyler Dibling only had one championship appearance to his name for 2 minutes before this season. The way we play suits Ndalas game far far more than sosa or silva. It’s good he is there as an option. You’re right he probably won’t play a minute this season however you never know and looking at Tyler dibling why not? Exeter especially if we are winning heavily I don’t see why not. You’ve got to get experience somewhere.

Fab's "A gift for Nuno" tweet is misleading. He's clearly one for the future and not for this season. Today has been a day of bolstering the acaddemy ranks.

We are fine for “nation trained” players but its “club trained” players we lack (Yates).

I wonder if, at 18, he could become “club trained” for European competition by 21 and if him spending half a season here would help that?

Either way, seems pretty low cost and low risk chance to have a good look at him and big potential upside. Might as well do a domestic loan like this if we have a spare slot and nobody lined up for the first team.

Just look at Tyler Dibling who can say for definite he can’t contribute anything to us in the last 14 games? His skill set maybe needed. He probably won’t play but you never know. He is an England youth international and is rapid.

FFS I'm talking about not playing an 18-year old complete rookie who we've only just signed in an FA Cup game who will have barely any time to integrate with our team

Don't see why this is even being discussed TBH

He has contributed to them and is wanted by Newcastle. If silva or sosa played for them they’ll still be going down. Ndala dosen’t have to be amazing. He is cover and just needs to fill in if we ever need him.
I couldn't give a shit about Dibling TBH, I'm talking about this lad

I agree with you. If the Exeter game was in three or four weeks then it could probably be different. I bet he’s still in Holland now thinking I need somewhere to live! But no one knows how good he is so it’s irrelevant anyway.

He seems something of a precocious talent who, as has been said, Nuno will be able to have a close look at before the club commits. Makes sense.

i'm happy with the signing. A loan with an option for only £4m is almost zero risk. stick him in the u23 and see f he thrives.
