He has definitely been the B teams brightest player when even I've watched them. I think Forest are banking on him to breakthrough to the first team. So I expect the option to buy to be activated.

I think it was rumored to be about £4m or something.

He is 18, so he will count as club grown when he is 21 which we desperately need for a European squad. I assume he will be in the same category as Moreira.

If the plans work out long term & we are European regulars we will desperately need players like this so I expect 3-4 more 18 year olds to arrive in the summer. At the moment we will have to rely on getting players like Cash, Brereton or Darlow/Smith to fill out our squad so we will definitely need to be proactive.

Says 4m plus 20% sell on in the OP. I'd completely forgotten about this deal/guy!

Still at Forest according to Wikipedia (doesn't mean much, I guess); back at Citeh according to Transfermarkt. Imagine we'll know more in the coming days/ weeks.

Only saw the highlights but agree that he looked stand out from what little I saw ...

On the Forest Focus podcast, Matt Davies said that Forest had not taken up the option to buy; and so he had returned to City.

So I guess this thread is off to ex-players sub-forum; even though he never played for us at senior level

Cheers for the update @Souvik . Sounds like a few people thought he had potential but guess we don’t feel he would grow enough to be pushing the first team.
