Saves having to log in and then sit watching a device screen, when you should be doing something else, like working.

Christ on a bike, it took them six months to send my membership card to Germany.

Can you imagine how long it would take to send an invite to the ticket system? I’d probably just about now be getting an invite to apply for tickets to the playoff final.

The randomisation for today's Villa tickets really was worse than could ever before. No clue where you are in the queue or even if you are in an actual queue. It just counts down to 10am and then gives you a time frame for when you can get into the ticketing website. Lots of people had "over an hour", how's that even possible?

Forest have managed to make the away ticketing battle royale now a blind battle royale.

They should just invite you down to a massive warehouse, give force feed you ten pints and a load of drugs and let you stumble around with 5k other people. Then when you wake up the next day some people have tickets, others don’t. I think that would be fairer and a giggle.

Why give fans plenty of time to collect their tickets, or have them posted out in good time, when you can leave it until the last minute?

United have put their details up for the game as well - looks like they have the whole lower tier.

Yeh, we have to give 15% if they request it.

£25 a ticket, which is reasonable.

It really, REALLY isn't hard to implement a system that allows single login - once you are logged in on your laptop for example you can't log in on your phone without being logged out of the laptop.

It's not difficult so I must conclude that they're not interested in doing that.

I'm guessing they don't want you to have more than one live session at a time during sales.

However, TicketMaster do have a way to transfer your active session from a desktop or laptop to mobile and vice versa.

That will depend on the platform you’re using.

For example, If you’re using Apple products, internet browsing history and cookies can be shared across all devices signed into the same iCloud account, so session-cookies generated for clients when they sign in to Ticketmaster systems can effectively be shared across multiple devices.

And yes, you certainly can enforce login from a single device at one particular time (even if multiple different devices utilise the same session-cookie).

My seat (upper BC 65+ as a Season Card holder is in the £20-35 category-presumably £35! This looks
a bit steep to me).
Still,I’d better fill my boots as we may not play Manchester United again in my lifetime......
