They've found a new home for the boathouse but it's directly behind the Trent End goal. After being critical of the club I’ll applaud this as a positive step. Which makes me wonder what bad news they’re about to give us

Indeed. There is a mechanism in place for non away members to access tickets by belonging to a supporters club. In my experience, being an away member precludes you from obtaining tickets via a supporters club. Probably fair enough. We don't need another scheme - it's complicated enough - unless this new one replaces the murky supporters club allocationI notice that as usual no mention at all was made of tickets being siphoned off to the Supporters Club. Not surprising, given the makeup of the group though I'm slightly disappointed Forza didn't raise it (or if they/someone did, then it didn't make the cut for publication).
I don't even object to the practice, but only if it's transparent and some indication given to the amount of tickets going "off the books", so that everyone knows what the score is.

Things did change. As a frustrated away member I emailed the club towards the end of last season asking why a fairer system couldn't be implemented. The reply stated that they were considering a number of options and things would change for the new season.
Your mate is probably telling the truth.I know someone who is in the Supporters Club and seems to get tickets for away games, he did tell me it’s not as easy as people think. I believe the number allocated isn’t that high and is given to long standing members first, however they obviously pass tickets on to friends etc.
Exactly-if away members knew the true facts many wouldn’t bother spending £50 (which would probablyYour mate is probably telling the truth.
If they actually published the criteria, and the numbers, then people would know that and it'd likely be far less controversial.
The problem here is the secrecy - partly because it creates distrust and accusations, and also because it means that Away Members have been mis-sold their scheme.
They’ve gone down a slippery path for sure Norm.I don’t see this as a positive step,Mark-just another kick in the crutch for away members (to which the club misled would be capped at 4,600 this season) who have coughed up £50 with limited chance of getting tickets.
Mind you-a minibus to Plymouth for a night game should be easy to get tickets for.

I know one who goes to every away game by virtue of being friends with a committee member of a supporters club branch.I know someone who is in the Supporters Club and seems to get tickets for away games, he did tell me it’s not as easy as people think. A more concerning problem is the amount allocated to corporate and player’s families. Difficult to stop players immediate family going to games, but I should imagine for some games, there could be 5 family members going for each player.
I was stood next to members of Andrey Santos' family at Anfield..........7 of them, of which they spent most of their time on their mobile phones!I know someone who is in the Supporters Club and seems to get tickets for away games, he did tell me it’s not as easy as people think. I’ve no idea what they’ll introduce next season but I’d put good money on it being an even more unfair system than we currently have.
Vlach is starting tomorrow. After being critical of the club I’ll applaud this as a positive step. Which makes me wonder what bad news they’re about to give us
Just finished the first series of True Detective. BrilliantVlach is starting tomorrow.

No need to worry anymore because they’ve got a FAB now don’t you know?It would be a low move by the club to raise prices again for the memberships. Already did a substantial hike at the start of this season.
I think they need to understand that it could push a lot of fans away if they do it again.

I expect it will. Making the lowest membership tier unlimited and thus selling thousands of memberships to people who probably won't get a ticket this season means they kind of have to do something in order to stop members in that tier getting disillusioned. What do we wanna bet the cost of the pro membership is going to go into three figures?
I wasn't expecting much like, but £90+ for basically what has amounted to a scarf I would rather freeze in than wear (MyForest), a card that did absolutely nothing and the privilege of being able to buy a ticket still feels like I want my head testing for buying it.
I feel like a broken record because I say this every time the topic comes up but I honestly don’t know where the narrative comes from that My Forest membership is pointless with no access to tickets. I have had a ticket in my basket for EVERY home game this season (although I’ve only been to Burnley, Brentford, Spurs, United and I’ll be at Newcastle) I even got two tickets together for Brentford, Spurs and United. I admit it’s now become a bit of a game for me to try and get a ticket for every game whether I can go or not just to prove it can be done! I’ve also had tickets for Newcastle, Blackpool and Bristol away but not been to any of them. If you actually try to get tickets, especially in the days before a game, you’ll almost certainly get one if you want it badly enough and put the time in. I just disagree completely that the lowest membership tier is somehow problematic, just seems like a stick to beat the club with.I don't get the complaints about Home Memberships, I have had 2 home memberships with my brother for years, so I was able to easily purchase a Gold and then a Pro-membership. As much as it's annoying to pay a high membership fee just for the privilege of being able to buy tickets, I'm afraid that's the nature of the Premier League.
My Dad is a 'My Forest' member and he will have managed to get to 4 home games this year (Luton and Burnley through a resale and Blackpool and Bristol City in the cup at home). As for away games, Blackpool and Bristol City away both went to all members, so if you wanted to get to some Forest games this season, the opportunities have been there.
I share people's concerns about the rise in price of membership fees potentially reaching triple figures, but it comes down to demand. If people are willing to pay the high fees, they'll continue to charge them. If 2,000 people are willing to pay £150 say, for a pro membership, they'll charge it as that's market price.
I think there are other clubs in the Premier League that have terrible policies - Fulham charged a ridiculous amount for a recent FA Cup game.
It's the nature of the beast.
