Having one is compulsory.

Though how useful it is can vary. Some clubs do take it seriously, but at most (including us) it seems to be a box ticking exercise.

My confusion was exacerbated by the inconsistency across different clubs you point out.

And yes further investigation shows the "framework" to be very vague. Loose commitment to listening ect.

I reckon the likelihood is, if you only attend 3 this season, you'll be able to renew your membership but will be in a new/worse category next season - it sounds like they're reviewing the whole system next summer:

All supporters opted into the Away Ticket Scheme must purchase for a minimum of three Premier League away fixtures to be eligible to opt into the Away Ticket Scheme again for 2026/27.

There will be full consultation with the Fan Advisory Board and wider supporter groups regarding the Away Ticket Scheme prior to the 2026/27 season.

I take that as them making some big changes. 400 club could be gone (or extended/reduced), new tiers based on attendance in previous years, plus 25/26, new rules for Europe if we're there again (based on whatever they learn this season), and so on.

Considering Priority One renewal criteria was (if memory serves) 14 games, there's no way they let you back in at the same or equivalent level if you drop that down to 3. Technically you'll still be 'in' the snappily named Away Ticket Scheme, but you might be relying on ballots.

I agree with most of that-but should we suffer an unfortunate relegation it will be irrelevant as it will be far easier to get away tickets again.

Afternoon all I’m back after a bit of a Forest break!

Does anyone knew if they are offering Memebership upgrades this season? Have seen nothing about it and my membership will Auto renew today at 4pm

Yeah will announced after the auto renewals today.

And as always, like the last four years, I will go through the Japanese tea ceremony of a ballot and be told I was unsuccessful again.

Membership upgrades opened on 9th July last year so expecting similar this time around.

Saying that, maybe they want to draw numbers down with reduced capacity on the horizon.

Yup expecting the same but as had a hectic June having been at Cricket/Weddings and F1 I didn’t know if I’d missed it.

Expecting to be told to sod off despite again doing 20+ games last season.

Was supposed to be but it’s Forest, what could possibly go wrong.

My money hasn’t debited and I haven’t had an email saying that I have been renewed. Went to have a look and my membership renewal says it is “on hold”.

Am not panicking yet as the faq’s says that if a membership fails to renew today (due to payment failing, etc) that they will attempt to do it again on the 8th of June and then again on the 15th of June before kicking you out of the scheme.

One additional thing while I think about it.

Forest being Forest. A bank card can only be used for one account. Found this out as I had to update my card details as the last one expired earlier this year. Updated it on my account and then logged into the god daughters account and tried to add update the card details to get told the card is already registered to another account (yeah mine I just updated it…), had to go and find another card to associate with the god daughters account…

Just checked and it says membership renewals start FROM 4pm, whereas I thought it’d be renewed by 4pm. Serves me right for not reading properly. With thousands of memberships to get through, it might take a good few hours to sort through.

I bet they are manually keying them one at a time instead of paying a very small sum of money to run a batch programme that processes them automatically and at the same time.

There should be at least 2 Pro memberships available in the ballot as me and my dad are not renewing this season. Can't commit to as many games with an 8 month old and when you split the Pro membership cost across a handful of games where the tickets are already £60 each it just isn't worth it. Going full armchair fan for a few seasons and will rejoin at the end of the queue once my little one is old enough, and there will hopefully be more seats available if they've actually started redeveloping the stadium by then.
