This is the availability in the BC Stand atm:-

The other stands look pretty similar...not expecting a sell out!
Yes, Forest have f**ked up the pricing strategy here. They could have filled the ground with U18’s bearing in mind it is still school holidays.
Nevertheless there will be plenty of Geordies from Cotgrave and Corby in the home seats by kick off time

I think there will be plenty available.
If I took all the family it'll be well over £100 when you add petrol to the equation. Sadly it's the telly for me on this occasion.
It will be interesting to see how many members that usually can't get a ticket decide to go.

It went on sale to all membership categories at once at 4pm today. Not much take up at all currently.

Has anyone else had problems with buying more than one re-sale ticket and trying to assign a ticket to someone from your Forest network ?

The re-assign button doesn't seem to be there ...

As far as I'm aware the only person that can purchase the resale ticket is the member from the logged in account.

If possible, get the other account details of the person you're trying to purchase it for and login with theirs.

Well that's what it looks like and that's what I'm trying.

Ironically everything falls to pieces on the page that says Purchases to be assigned ...

Well someone has fixed it and I now have tickets for Saturday.

Excellent.

The club have blown this by offering general sale tickets too late and they should have offered them at a better price. However, the next time someone puts a sob story on social media about not being able to get to a game for years, the simple reply will be... Newcastle at Home!!

Well as it stands, this is going to be the cheapest game of the season by far ...

Interesting approach from Man City. I can't see emails like that being well received from supporters when they have paid their money and any kind of circumstance could have arisen from someone not attending.

I presume that this is aimed at corporate types who only want to attend big six type games. And have sufficient money not to be bothered about the cash they get for selling their ticket on.

Also helps those who feel excluded get to a game - even if it is Ipswich and not Man U.

So IMHO fair enough.

Tonights game suggests to me that we have our own fair share of fans who really just want to be at the big games. They'd rather be in a ballot with a small chance of going to a big game than being part of schemes that give a high chance of going to smaller games. It's why I think ballots have to be handled with care. They don't usually reward loyalty. Look at the clamour for people to be part of the Southampton away ballot , only then not to purchase tickets. Unfair on folk who wanted to go but only found out last minute that they could get tickets.

Bloody hell. That's a pisstake email. What a disgrace from that club, but then I guess it's nothing less than expected from an alleged cheating club.
If that was Forest I'd be extremely disappointed that the club are big brother-ing the life & blood of the club.

Whilst I don't necessarily agree with the full email I can understand the reasoning.

People are happy to take the piss out of City for empty seats but this shows they don't like it and want a person on the seat, admittedly as they'll make more money as well, so I don't see an issue.

It's not like they've said he needs to use it,he has several options to offer his seat out which he could take up (I understand there might have been an emergency which he could explain I guess)

Yep, and 14 of 19 games isn't a high bar to clear anyway. If I was on a ST waiting list and knew that seats were going empty then I'd be pretty pissed off.

If they opened up general sale more than 24h before kick off then people from further afield might be able to make work/travel plans to attend the game.

An 8 pm email the night before, announcing general sale is available, doesn’t leave much time for planning.

This is the downside of pushing the membership option.

Edit: wrong thread, but I’ll leave it here. Was about the Newcastle match not selling well.

Bit of a piss take to send after just one game missed. Though if they had missed say 3 I'd expect an email to be sent mainly reminding them that if they miss more than 5 they won't be able to renew next year.

I kind of agree with this if you live locally but for someone like myself who is now based in London it's not that simple. If I were still 20 minutes down the road like I used to be then I would not think twice for a midweek night game - I've certainly been to enough over the years - but late notice trains are either full or expensive (last year for the Man United cup game I had to get 3 trains to get home instead of the usual 1 due to being purchased late for example) I also didn't get home until just after 1:30 which isn't fun when you're up at 6 for work the next day.

People could say 'well if you wanted to go that bad it's just how it is' and while that's not untrue I just wanted to add a different point of view for people that live outside the Nottingham area.

It was much easier to justify when I'd be home by 10:30 and it didn't cost north of £200 all in to see the match.

This is standard practice at a lot of clubs now. I was expecting Forest to do the same, but so far haven't. I'm happy to list on the exchange when I can't attend.

Yeah I think this would be better. If he had missed a couple even. I can see both sides.

You see it at Brighton, it is quite visible. You see loads of empty seats, I imagine down there people have the money to just keep a ST going and only attend big games.

f*** that.... no f***er was moaning about people missing a Tuesday night game against Barnsley when Houghton was killing football for everyone. But because they cant make a night game in the prem they should lose a ticket for it?

I only deal in facts and the cold hard facts and i will die on any hill with is that the majority of people with season tickets now only have them because they shown blind faith in Chris Houghton and Forest in one of its shittest hours....

We then stormed to the prem and have remained.... same with the original 400 club. Id love an away ticket but them f***ers who did 21 away games or what ever it was would have more than likely done the same the following season if we wouldn't have got up and therefore deserve what they have got.

Absolutely mate and I appreciate that it's not straightforward for fans who live away from Nottingham. I just get a bit frustrated that some people have complained that the City Ground is a closed shop and tickets are impossible, when the reality is that there is ample opportunity to go to games for locals. Bournemouth game didn't even sell out, there were cup ties at home last season to Burnley, Bristol, Blackpool, which didn't sell out. Whilst it's harder to get tickets and sometimes you have to keep looking for resales, the opportunity is there*.

If the game has been moved from the original published fixture list thanks to Sky or whoever then all bets should be off.

FAO Forest - I know you're thinking about this...well...a shilling's worth of free advice: don't even think about it.

Just been successful in getting Liverpool tickets through the ballot. All very smooth until I tried to add my daughter to get both tickets. I was requesting 2 adult tickets which as she's 19 is the correct price bracket at Forest, however this isn't the case at Liverpool. As she's under 21 it's only cost me £15 for hers.
2 tickets for £46.50 including the postage, I'm happy with that.
