I think the squad overhaul is far from done. It should be a continual process to improve, but if we start to move up the food chain in transfer fees then we will just start to add the occasion players each window.Blimey, how many new midfielders do we want?
Defensive midfielder.
I think Dominguez will go back to Italy.Defensive midfielder.
In that case that could possibly point toward Yates being sold. From a financial perspective we'd lose a lot of money on Sangare and Yates is pure profit
€120m release clause
I'd prefer to keep Dominguez if possible. He's the best technical midfielder we've gotI think Dominguez will go back to Italy.
I hope not.I think Dominguez will go back to Italy.
Why do you say that?I think Dominguez will go back to Italy.
Agreed - I am expecting a lot more from Sangare next season as well. We saw glimpses of what he can do, but he needs to step up.I think players coming to England and playing in the PL for the first time need a season before they can give consistent top-quality performances.
It is nothing like the football they will have experienced.
I’m pretty sure he was linked with a move back months agoWhy do you say that?
Surely that’s Danilo? I know he’s positionally naive at times and inconsistent, but only MGW and Murillo at the club are at his level technically I would say. His goal at Brentford got all the plaudits, but I really liked his goal v Wolves - looked a bit lucky with how it fell to him but that was a great touch and instant finish.I'd prefer to keep Dominguez if possible. Agree. Danilo has incredible technical ability, he’s just very raw. I’m pleased he’s been given a load of game time. Needs to play more advanced.Surely that’s Danilo? I'd still say Dominguez is the better technician. Danilo is more dynamic and adventurous which catches the eye a bit more but if I wanted someone to get hold of it and pop it around I'm taking Dominguez. That's not to say he's the better overall player on terms of what he brings though.Surely that’s Danilo? I've seen Dominguez throw a few diags in but there's far more to a good a technician than being able to pick out the odd long range pass.I've not seen Dominguez pick out a long pass like Danilo. Couple of recent examples are into CHO at Everton for the third clear penalty and into CHO again at Sheffield United when he hit the outside of the post.
Of course, but you specifically said pop it around. Look, I like Dominguez and hope he stays. I think he's better out of possession than Danilo. But Danilo is technically better imo.I've seen Dominguez throw a few diags in but there's far more to a good a technician than being able to pick out the odd long range pass.
