Dean Bradley Henderson

I see what everybody means about this guy having horrible timing so far in his career - if DDG is badly injured he would have missed his chance to be Number 1 again.
They’d probably just sign or loan some first choice International from somewhere and leave Hendo stuck on the bench.

Dean has had a few strong words to say about Solskjaer and Man United today.

Apparently Henderson didn't want to speak to Ten Haag when the new manager arrived and looked to leave asap as he felt the club had wasted 12 months of his career with false promises of being their number 1 goalkeeper.

Ouch. Well I can't see him going back there even next year. If he does well for us this season, he'll probably have a lot of interest from Premier League clubs and it'll become a bidding war.

He looks good to me, I know he did well at the blunts last season too. Hopefully we've done well and we have a chance to sing him.

He also said he didn't want to spend pre-season at Man Utd because he knew Ten Haag would want to keep him :ROFLMAO:

Wasn't Lingard offered similar assurances by Solksjaer after being priced out of a move to West Ham?

If you like that interview, wait till you see the one today at the training ground with Sky. Hopefully it’ll be online soon.

He dislikes Man Utd obviously.
He wants to go toe to toe with them but acknowledges he isn’t able to play those games.
Instead, he wants thrash Leicester as there’s needle there.

He loves Cooper, really want to play for him and he’s not come to Forest so we make up the numbers. He want to compete with us, reach for the stars etc.

He almost said he wants to be here next year too.

Good lad.

Great attitude for a goalkeeper. Said it when we signed him, he wants to be the best keeper in the world and genuinely believes he can be.

Going to be a big player for us this year.

Yep. You need to be self assured as a keeper. You can tell this guy won't let an error get to him.

Samba had it, this guy does too.

Hopefully he will throw a strop and force a move to us next summer when he keeps us up.

He has looked v. sharp in pre-season.

Darren Bent thinks Pickford is number 1 for England but I think that position is wide open.

There's so many goalkeepers around the same level. Pope, Pickford, Henderson, Ramsdale.

Henderson could easily be number 1 if he plays regularly. When he was at Sheffield United he played like an England number 1. Was incredible.

Darren Bent buys trainers as a hobby, that's as exciting as he gets.

You know what, I love that. Bit of bollocks about him. He's contracted to United for at least another four years and he's dug them out like that.
Get the vibe from him that if you show faith and loyalty, he'll try and perform miracles for you. He was fantastic for Sheffield United and if we get that Henderson, quality loan.

Get the feeling if we stay up and have a good season, he'll be wanting to come back as well. Over to you Jimmy!

Happy with that. If we stay up we may sign him permanently. The only teams I can think of above us in the pecking order that may need a keeper is Leicester if they don't adequately replace Kasper.

The likes of West Ham and Palace would have to factor in the cost for upgrading their already decent keepers.

So we have signed a player who is just in it for the money, and one who was not happy to sit on the bench and take the money.

Talksport must be so confused right now
