Was just thinking of academy grads who might break in to the 1st team squad. Anyone have a scouting report on how Dale’s season has gone? I know he scored at Wembley and has been a regular in the Wycombe team and Northern Ireland squads. He’s scored 9 goals from 46 in all competitions - 5 from 37 in the league. Did they rate him at Wycombe?

I've also seen him a couple of times (both against Peterborough) and I'd agree with Notch's assessment. Not a bad player, but would need to have shown a lot more to get a Premier League chance.

He is, like Taylor, nowhere close, and unless something remarkable happens, he never will be.
