My preference: Neither.

One is a lazy overrated player with shocking dress sense and the other is a headless chicken type speed demon.

If we sign ASM then one can only hope the first time he gets his head up is to listen to Mr Cooper.

Can’t wait to see him round my neck of the woods in the restaurants of Ponteland and Morpeth wearing that clobber. He seems a bit of a throbber to me.

Everton we’re hoping for £60m!! 🫣. I suppose if Will Hughes was worth £60m and going to sign for Barcelona I suppose Gordon is similar.

Some of the fees you get in the Prem are mad.

£45m for Gordon who's a bit neat but hardly shown anything beyond being a squad player for a side battling relegation is mad, let alone the £60m they wanted.

Apply the same logic to our squad and you're talking £50m for Johnson, £75m for MGW etc. It's just nuts.

I’ve never seen anything from this lad to make me think he’ll ever be worth 45m, let alone currently.

Surely they could get Jack Harrison or maybe even Maddison for that kind of dough? Or someone from abroad like Diaby or Ferran Torres? Barca are open to selling Raphinha apparently…..

Id rather have Brennan than Gordon. Mental

Was thinking this. I’ve not kept an eye on him personally but not seen him drawing much individual praise this season or having good stats so, as you’ve said, apply the logic to our squad and the ££ spent on MGW looks like a bargain.

Let’s hope they can’t spend their money on anyone good.
