He gave away the free kick that they conceded against Southampton last week by making a really stupid foul on the edge of the box. Given the poisonous atmosphere at Everton at the minute I assume he would have been on the receiving end of some abuse from the fans, so maybe he wants out and with them bringing in Danjuma they might want to cut the wage bill. To be honest I’m not sure why any player would want to be at Everton at the moment.

I don’t think he’s worth a fraction of what was mentioned for him in the summer, but he has got some talent and moving to a club with a more positive dressing room might bring the best out of him. Although to be honest I would be shocked if Everton let him leave to a relegation rival.
