It reminds of my old mid-60s mod days when an elderly bloke (looking back, he was probably only in his 50s) approached me and my mate on Wheeler Gate one Saturday afternoon to express his admiration towards us for having the courage to leave the house wearing flowered ties!

I mentioned earlier in the thread based upon the 3 or 4 times I've seen him, he was average at best and seemed almost disinterested at times. The game against Leeds stood out for me, Leeds were high energy and fight and he didn't look like he wanted to be there

I think Gordon would do well elsewhere, but he's stuck in an Everton team that are just..poor. Maybe when a new manager comes in he'll find his form again, but I have a feeling he's off to Newcastle. The fees discussed are quite high though and I get the feeling even the Newcastle fans are sensibly suggesting the money would be better off invested in someone like James Maddison.

If we signed him, however, I wouldn't drop Gibbs-White or Brennan for him.

We have a vacancy for a decent attacking left sided player & he fits the style.

easy either way on this but suspect Newcastle are in the box seat anyway.
