£3.5 million spent on agent fees!

Protest. Chase the **** out of our club.
You and many others are watching him strangle the life out of us.

Just serves to derail the good work being done at present, with no real prospect of success. He'll go when he wants.

The best short term antidote is to get down the ground, get some money into the club & support the team. Hoping in the meantime folk like Sam Gordon can have a positive influence.

Anything else just further debilitates the club

Always support the team mate. I can distinguish between the club and the owner.
Will never support Fawaz and his dire ownership.

"Safe" "your overlord"? WTF

Like I say, if you want to enjoy football don't pay any mind to peices like these and enjoy the good days out. If not absorb yourself in the woe.

If you want to villanize me to make you feel better feel free.

But how you can be pissed off at something which hasn't happened, to cover the wages of players which someone else who has left bought here is bizare. Ben's not been sold, Pedros gone.

Is Ben's sale going to be as quick, poor and guarenteed as Cash's was back in Jan?

One of the reasons why we have very few "good days" is because of this very reason. Many people don't want to sit fat, dumb and happy whilst we head for FFP again.

Substitute Ben for Burke then if it's easier to comprehend.

There's a very small part of me that actually wants to see Fawaz grow a pair, stay the course with Warburton and co, and stick it out here just to take the wind out of the moaning vuvuzelas.

I'd like him to stay if it guaranteed Warburton and co ran the club whilst Fawaz stayed out of England.

Theres only so many ways of surmising that Fawaz is shit before it starts to become a bit repetitive though. Its poor form on Fawaz part, but Sam Gordon & Frank McParlands influence has to give hope going forward.

With there being no way fans can positively influence what goes on under Fawaz, surely the best bet short term is to just enjoy the football & focus on the positives.

I'm loving the football under Warburton and I'm very positive towards our youth players. Poor decisions that are detrimental to this club will not be swept under the carpet however.

Worked AMAZINGLY well so far. He went from actively looking to sell, to trying to build a structure instead.

The protests came after he welched on the JJM deal in the 11th hour.

Every professional football player in the world has got an agent now...there are no transfers or loans that you don't have to grease their palms..there just seems an anomaly with how much we pay them compared to the rest of the football league..dare I say that perhaps agents pay the selling mgr a fee to thank them for the business...after all every mgr also have agents working to make them rich..MWs daughter works for a firm of those leaches..hence the Rangers fans saying he boyght more of her clients..true or not it is rife in the game and no club can stand up to them if they want a full squad of players..We need to attract the low paid players with something to prove and sell when they have that belief...

Cohen said on interview he has not got an agent whilst saying his contract will be discussed at the end of season.

Looks like Fawaz won't be here much longer anyway although wouldn't get too excited yet!

You can guarentee they're more than any other club's, and that she does less work for it, and that Billy pinched the tea bags too #shambles #drama #scandle

Just give it a rest, I'll give £10 to your chosen charity if you can go for a month without mentioning that horrible little man.. It's really f***ing disturbing me..

If we get 13m for Ben & Warbo gets to invest that I'll be happy tbh.

And after the protests Fawaz then released a statement saying he wasn't looking to sell any more. Before the protests he was still looking to sell.

Actually what he said after months of negotiations was "At the moment I am not going to sell the club right now." Which reads entirely different to your comment. http://m.nottinghampost.com/fawaz-a...pletely-dead/story-30087433-detail/story.html

Since the protests, we've signed Clough, brought in a respected CFO, a respected DOF and one of the most exciting managers in England. The fans spoke and Fawaz reacted. They are baby steps, but at least he's stumbling in the right direction now. Probably in part thanks to the fans standing up for themselves.

Although I don't support the way Fawaz has run the club, I weirdly still think he could end up being very good if we had some success! His blind and romantic financial support could eventually be a blessing if we had the structure in place. I genuinely don't think he wants to screw us over for a few bob and that's more than can be said of a few owners.

And? so what? They haven't helped make him leave like I said. All his actions have cemented his investment in the club more.

Another self harmest who doesn't like progression.

Anyway I suggest you take a look at the "takeover shenanigans" thread. Your timing couldn't be much better! :D

What are you on about? I said Fawaz went from actively looking to sell to deciding to make a go of things. How on earth that means I don't want him to sell, or what happens now - several months later - changes what has happened is beyond me

Just read what I posted mate. Like I say, Fawaz went from selling up to digging in after protests. Several months have passed since, without protest, and that seems to have changed his mind to sell more.

Proving if anything that protests aren't the way to force him out. All they did where fire up his desire to prove himself and stay.

Give him space to assess the situation himself and selling will creep more & more into his mindset, as it appears to have done.

This is just another example of why we're f**ked financially. If we managed things better we'd be under less pressure to sell our better players. Until the club starts to be run professionally from top to bottom we're fighting a losing battle.

It was under Doughty and Marthur but fans still abused them for not doing enough to buy decent players.

And two and a half months later he's selling at least 50% or all of the club. Your statement is wrong bud.

No it's not, not in the slightest. He was looking to sell, fans protested, he then made the statement he wasn't looking to sell and bought in a load of staff to help rebuild the club.

His direct reaction to the protests was to stay to try and prove a point.

Only a few months of none-protest and relative peace, after his passification of said Twitter type fans via the signings, have given him time & space to think about it all and change his mind.

If fans had kept on protesting, he'd have kept digging in further.

I can see why you'd think that, but he's not selling a Ford Mondeo. A football club takes Months and months to sell, not a few weeks.

Looks like you've been duped by Fawaz again for saying one thing and doing the opposite.
