How are we the third highest in the league, we've only spent a couple of million in the last few years on Vellios and Clough. The rest have been shit freebies and loans.

Really? Your blaming the media? The media release the figures for every single club this time of year. For us to have such astronomical agents fees compared to our spend on transfers is worrying.

I mean, who gives a shit? Seriously? You pay to watch a match, if it's good you enjoy it. Yeah the agent fees aren't great here but so what? Will you sleep better at night if agents get paid less?

The media - not just with football but as a whole - constantly release articles designed to stir things up, and keep people in a state of constant fear & worry. Why do you think they released this peice, so that it creates a harmonious state of acceptance amongst fans, or so that fans have another knife to stick in to whoever their desired target is?

This is just another example of why we're f**ked financially. If we managed things better we'd be under less pressure to sell our better players. Until the club starts to be run professionally from top to bottom we're fighting a losing battle.

It's one element among many that results in player sales. If agent fees were less we'd still be selling players.

Its not that simple. If the fees were different then that money would likely have been spunked away elsewhere on an Abdoun or Miller.

What's important is that we've restructured since, and said restructure is given time to show what it can do, without having to deal with the pressure of past sins.

Do we pay an agent simply because he represents a players we sign/sell or are these payments for introductions etc? I thought our manager/coach/DOF search out our own targets? All this is very confusing. When I was young we bought and sold players and there were no agents, I wonder how we managed?
