Villa are currently better than Liverpool who will get better as the season goes on.

I can only see a heavy defeat next Sunday afternoon which is exactly why you need to see games out when you’re winning 2-0 at home against another relegation battler.
We are a different beast at home against the good teams, we will win I promise.

I don't think Villa are better than Liverpool, especially not away. Still a very tough game but hopefully not as one-sided as that.

I fully agree about the Luton collapse-but I expect a hard fought game at the City Ground
next Sunday.
I anticipate a Forest reaction.

I stated a few games a go hes not that great,no turn of pace, not great in the air, struggles with the old 1-2 and awareness.Do i think he could become a better player certainly so..
They said the same about Rodri in his first year at City. It's also about us finding the best role for him, he played where Mangala is playing for PSV for example.

Give it time, he will come good. I don't think he's been close to bad like some are saying, just he hasn't looked out best player which is what people wanted.

I think Sangare will gradually get better throughout the season, the more that the team gels and the more that the team get better, unfortunately two seasons in a row, we’ve been in a position different to most teams where we’ve been unable to slowly bring players into the team.

Difficult to take any positives from that sadly. Our failure to maximise points against Palace,Burnley,Brentford and Luton don't augur well. This was predictable today but we looked no more dangerous than Luton until the latter stages when Liverpool switched off. Tough times ahead imo.

Nottingham's dirty secret
I just can't get my head around why he's played every game since Chelsea (the last game we played well in)!
Coops chased him for 18 months. He's essentially this season's MGW. So I don't think he'll be dropped. He should be. But he won't be.

I think we'll probably see Yates come in for Mangala or Nico.

Coops dropped Yates for Sangare for Burnley after Ryan put in a brilliant display against Chelsea. This particular incident was self-inflicted.

Well we saw what we were capable of when Taiwo and Yates came on so that's a positive.
We didn't totally fold even though we were being outclassed so that's a positive
Taiwo being back is a massive positive by the way

He got stuck in within 1 second exactly what we were missing
I was critical of Taiwo last season from a technical point of view but one thing nobody can doubt is he that he isn't fazed by his opponent's reputation. He will smash into world-renowned players and make himself a nuisance against the very best.

Unfortunately we have a number of players who see the big names they're next to in the tunnel and shit themselves.

I'm confident Sangare will come good; similar to Montiel he just needs time to adapt to the Prem.

I am however becoming frustrated with Coops again, I thought/hoped we were past this cowardly way of playing against the top teams, particularly after the Luton f*** up, I was hoping we'd have gone and given it a right go. It's also time for Yates to come back into the starting line up and for Vlachodimas to be given a chance.

Other than the midfield thing, Murillo showed well against them and if he reins in his drives against the top teams for the time being he'll be great.

Good to see Taiwo back, but we're clearly struggling for goals. If we only do one bit of business in January, we must strengthen the front line.

Oh, and hire a bloody physio to stop all of these injuries.

Good lad Thomas, when I was your age I’d be limbering up to go again tonight. 🤔🍺
