Great bit of work there!! Realy interesting.
Im a fan of the form table, personally. So understanding that the 1st 10 games are not representative of our performance and potential. How does the chart look like only considering the trend from games 11-20. As a guess, i think it´ll take us to around 50pts. But a lot of hard work to do before we get there. Stats are only stats....
i've added it to this chart which shows points amassed for Forest plus the current bottom 3

I selected GW12-21 for the forecast, which would put us on 48ish - a tall order to maintain that form though

IMO probably not. But Cooper is a fan, so if he does come I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
to be fair to ayew ,grabban was older than him . He was offered a contract after last season and he's the one who rejected it. Ayew knows cooper and how he likes to play so shouldn't have problem adapting into his system. A short term contract till the end of the season will suit everyone and he already has played in the premier league with swansea and west ham. He went to qatar for money and if he's asking too much , then forget it. He also played with shelvey during his time with swansea.

So to keep it technical, Forest need to stick on the dotted line and they'll finish above the blobs.

I'd imagine that any potential move for Ayew will be put on hold until we have the outcome of LOB move to Blackburn. I can't see us bringing anyone in to allow LOB to rot for 6 months. That wouldn't be the right thing to do by him and would reflect awfully on Forest.

If Coops wants Ayew let him have him head earnt that right . It’s also low risk and high reward in my view. He was great in the champ so you never know

Well, as the old saying goes, in a herd of buffalo being chased by a Lion, you only need not be the slowest buffalo.

TBF, talkShite's issue with us was not the total expenditure but the number of new players.

Their issue with Jesse Lingard was about cash-over-aspiration. But that was about him 'going for the money', not us spending that money.

Talksport’s issue with us is we’re not from
London. They don’t believe a Northerner is entitled to turn down a move to the capital and they don’t believe a Midlands club should get above its station and show ambition.

On the plus side I reckon we’ll only need about10-15 players in the summer so the recruitment team will have it easy!

The end of this window has been shambolic. I just hope it doesn't disrupt the form the team has been building over the last couple of months.

As far as we're concerned LOB was due to go out on loan for the rest of the season so we planned accordingly, it's unfortunate that Blackburn were incompetent and failed on their side. Why would we have a contingency plan for the possibility that his loan move would fail to go through in the final moments?

Obviously everyone wants him to be playing regular football and the situations far from ideal for all parties involved, but the idea that we should have done a last minute U turn and thrown him into the 25 is a bit irrational. The 25 we've gone with for the remainder of the season is a group that's been specifically put together for a reason

We can speculate who and what would have been better but at the end of the day our coaching team have a plan and considering they spend every day working with an analyzing our players it's safe to assume they've chose the best men for the task at hand

Yes

And let's also not forget that the club had seemingly also decided LO'B was surplus to requirements in order to loan him out.

In the CM positions we have Danilo, Yates, Freuler, Mangala, MGW, Scarpa, Kouyate, Colback, Lingard... I know some of those are injured and some of those are probably more forward thinking than Lewis but we can only play 3/4 of them and all of them are probably ahead of him.

I suppose the real question would be, which player we'd leave out of the 25 to put him in instead?
