Trevoh Chalobah (BUPA)

Nobody could blame him for holding out for Bayern, but even after the move to Germany fell through he still chose to stay at Chelsea where his game time will be very limited. For me he's chosen to stay in his comfort zone.
Whose to say Bayern won't be back in for him in January when the asking price has likely dropped due to his inactivity? Like others have said, harsh to pull apart his character because he turned down a move here after being courted by Bayern Munich most of the summer.

Still think we’ll take a look at him in January. I know we’ve been linked with another Brazilian CB too for January. Bit of an overhaul of that groups may be on its way. Good news if we continue to add more quality.

We could probably get Brewster for a few books of out-of-date green shield stamps and I suspect he still wouldn't be worth it. Getting him scoring again would be surely beyond even SC's powers.

Oh I don‘t know; I have confidence in „Coops“ to maybe get a tune out of him, he’s got a track-record for getting performances out of the supposed-dead that rivals Dr. Frankenstein.

I think there is likely to be some truth in him being floated our way.

Chelsea want Nottingham Forest's 21-year-old Brazilian defender Murillo, who the City Ground side value at £70m, and could offer English centre-back Trevoh Chalobah, 24, as part of any deal. (Guardian)

Am not keen on chalobah, not from a quality POV as he would definitely improve us but thought I'd read last season he didn't want to come to us and by the looks of it still doesn't..

Players can change their minds though can't they. You'd imagine he'd be fairly close to CHO having come through the Chelsea ranks together, and Callum might have put a good word in his ear about the club and the city etc.

Not keen if he's not really up for it though definitely.

According to some west ham site we've already rejected Chelsea's swap proposal and have no interest in a deal involving Chalobah.

(Chalobah is being sharkrd to them as well)

I mean we do need LCBs quite desperately if we sell Murillo, and Chalobah is right-sided isn't he.

That Carmo from Benfica via Oly seems likely/sensible. Was that Vitao left-sided? That seems to have gone quiet.

Vitao is a righty, think morato is a lefty.

I think we need a RCB and LCB, either side of Boly in a back 3 ideally for me, Omo as primary back up. Might even need another if we went to 3.

From what I saw of Chelsea towards the back end of the season, he looked like their best centre half to be honest...

I don't blame him for not wanting to come, London to Nottingham and the position which we have been in as a club the last two years has hardly been attractive, never mind the supposed Bayern interest. If we can get good money and Chalobah, it would make a lot of sense.

If Chalobah wants to come now, We can do a separate swap deal
60m for Murillo
20m for Chalobah
It helps Chelsea’s position and improves ours even more.

Corinthians due 10% on the profit, as long as we get around PSR I’d go for a net sale/offset. Gives an opportunity to cook the books too on Chalobah’s valuation. Or any other player in that scenario.

From what I hear - he is really good mates with CHO and he loves it here

If he wants to come great ,if not no chance, didn't we have a record breaking transfer fee paid for someone getting dragged here kicking and screaming from PSV.
Did we? No one ever talks about it.

Has it ever actually been proven that he was dragged here kicking and screaming? I assume there's a YouTube video or something filmed on someone's mobile? Or is it just chinese whispers?

OK Ok maybe not quite kicking and screaming this article among others didn't help and his style of football and getting up to speed fed into the theory that he is reluctant to be here .

Player ‘quite sad’ leaving club for Nottingham Forest – Transfer more ‘see you later than a farewell

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare was ‘quite sad’ when departing the club for Nottingham Forest on deadline day.

That’s according to journalist Marco Timmer, who says the move is very much being seen as a ‘see you later than a farewell’ by the relevant parties.
Sangare completed a move to Nottingham Forest yesterday following months of speculation and effort from Steve Cooper’s side to get him.

The Ivorian had appeared slightly reluctant to make the move for much of the summer, an understandable stance given he had also been linked to the likes of Paris Saint Germain.

He eventually accepted the move on deadline day, though, with Nottingham Forest paying €35m to get him and PSV more than happy to sell to help balance the books.

Indeed, for much of this week it was made clear that the decision would very much be Sangare’s to make, with him continuing to deliberate on it.

He eventually decided to go but Timmer reports that the player’s departure from De Herdgang was ‘quite sad’ after he had enjoyed ‘wonderful years’ at the club.

Indeed, he states that his departure to Nottingham Forest is being seen as ‘more like a see you later’ than a complete farewell.

Whether that means he ends up back at PSV in future remains to be seen and for now at least it’s all focus on Nottingham Forest, who will be hoping the midfielder can put his sadness to one side quicky.
