Both Luton and Coventry, playoff finalists a couple of years ago are struggling to stay in the league, Huddersfield from 3 years ago already in Div 1.
I was tempted, but unthinkably I’m going to stick with Fizzy Piss Leipzig against Borussia Mönchengladbach instead!Wayne Rooney derby later on today, might be some laughs to be had there.
Don't worry, you can rely on LTLF to keep you right up to date with any LOL moments.I was tempted, but unthinkably I’m going to stick with Fizzy Piss Leipzig against Borussia Mönchengladbach instead!
Surely Luton are too plucky to go down. Just ask the journos who rimmed them last season. Both Luton and Coventry, playoff finalists a couple of years ago are struggling to stay in the league, Huddersfield from 3 years ago already in Div 1.
What’s your thoughts on the 10th mate playing your retarded neighbours?
I recently bought a vehicle from a garage that was run by a big Blades fan, he talked endlessly about the 10th and then passively called me a scab when I mentioned where I was from
Anyway, good luck from here, I hope you batter them.
You sound like someone who would eat a sandwich in front of a Premier league manager!Awful game. One shot on target from them made the difference.
First half Wednesday were the better team, second half they came out swinging, got the goal, had a spell then decided to shut up shop, to which Wednesday couldn’t find an answer.
Some more quality in the final third and Wednesday would have won that game. United didn’t impress me at all and if Hamer gets injured they are screwed. Everything good goes through him.
Plenty of object throwing beforehand, a Wednesday fan allegedly having “Where’s Baldock” on his phone, although having seen the picture I’m not sure it’s totally genuine.
United fan filmed spitting at the end from the upper tier onto Wednesdayites below.
Wilder filmed in the boozer, on the table signing songs about swinging a pig and changing the Danny Rohl song to “Sausage, sausage Roll”
Enjoy the win by all means, but Wilder is a professional football manager that still acts like the wannabe hooligan he is. I never minded Warnock at United, he is a blade through and through but he had satire when it came to beating Wednesday.
Wilder has no class, never has and never will.

Thanks for the reply.
I read a brief match report afterwards that said much the same.
The classless behaviour won’t surprise anyone on here but spitting on away fans is a bit 1980’s isn’t it. Idiots.
Our games with Derby are also usually cagey, dull affairs with the odd classic every now and then. I haven’t missed them these last few years either to be honest.

Makes him sound even more pathetic for that little mardy though doesn't it.
You definitely seemed to have their number in the first half.
Still, it will be delightful when they don't go up and their takeover either falls through or they finally get taken over by the Tinder Swindler and Elizabeth Holmes.

Aye. Let’s be honest, in football circles if you mention Sheffield it’s Wednesday that instantly spring to mind. Nobody cares about Sheffield United, they have always been the sideshow. Same as Brum compared to Aston Villa.I would agree with Mark Bright
Those players were well paid while at Derby and Fat Frank played his part in their eventual journey to administration. You'd think Coventry would have learned the lessons from their own recent history.Frank Lampard is going to get the Coventry job by the looks of things. Dear oh dear. Another club going down the route of a big name without any substance manager.
Lampard only did relatively well at Derby because he loaned in full internationals Harry Wilson, Mason Mount and Tomori (now at AC Milan). He won't be able to get such players in at Coventry.
I suppose Coventry want to go down the Plymouth route of definitely trying to get relegated this season.
I think Wilson was on loan from Liverpool and Mount/Tomori from Chelsea. We don't know how much Derby contributed to their wages when they had them.Frank Lampard is going to get the Coventry job by the looks of things. Dear oh dear. I still can't quite over Birmingham sacking John Eustace whilst in 6th place to replace him with the saviour that is Wayne Rooney.Sacking Robins and replacing him with Lampard is one of the most moronic decisions I have seen in recent years.
This reminds me a lot of that decision. Though this one is arguably worse considering Robins' achievements at Coventry.I still can't quite over Birmingham sacking John Eustace whilst in 6th place to replace him with the saviour that is Wayne Rooney.
The Coventry fans are absolutely raging from what I've seen online and I can't blame them. This reminds me a lot of that decision. Though this one is arguably worse considering Robins' achievements at Coventry.
Like the Rooney appointment at Birmingham, there has been no thought put into this appointment other than wanting to appoint a "big name". Wouldn't be surprised if the end result ends up being the same either.
Lampard seems to put players' backs up wherever he goes.Lampard has been an abject failure everywhere he’s managed.
I am unconvinced that is going to change any time soon.
Perhaps they should approach the Board of Leicester City?Frank Lampard?! Really?! Surely there are better candidates out there than him?
It's the fans I feel sorry for when clubs make these bonkers appointments
I've got a lot of time for Coventry, proper old football club; would've much rather they'd won that playoff final than Luton, would've been good to have a club like them back in the Premier League
I think that's been proved to be the case with more than a few top players who go into management with lower level clubs and adapting to working with players of a poorer quality than they're used to, and discovering that having the appropriate badges is just the start. David Platt certainly gave me that impression when he was here; saying all the right things but having neither the patience and/or communication skills to see it through.Lampard seems to put players' backs up wherever he goes.
He doesn't seem to have the people skills to handle them properly.
