Also remember Everton won their next two after getting thumped six nil at Chelsea. The first was against us but still.

West Ham drew their last two home games against Leverkusen and Liverpool. They aren't completely hopeless.

Chelsea are also a very different side at home compared to how they perform away (no away win for almost 3 months), so we can get something against them if we are at our best too.
It's difficult to read too much into today's result. West Ham and Chelsea are both far better at home than they are away. This could bode well for next Saturday and is probably more relevant than the score today.

I shall be in Manchester next weekend, but have instructed my card carrying West Ham son in law to see to it that the Hammers perform better against Luton. Can't have such poor performance in such an important game. Perhaps Moyes will get them motivated to go for a European place.

Next season we need whole sale changes, defensively we are awful, we give way too many chances away. We do need a new striker Serhou Guirassey please (Sorry @Strummer).
„Hey Serhou! Do you want to play for a team that’ll finish second or third in its league and play in the Champions League, or do you want to play for a team struggling against relegation owned by an impulsive crackpot in the Premier League?“

It’s a difficult choice, I’ll tell you 😂

To be fair West Ham won’t fold at home IMO
Yeah I agree , I think it’s also a good match up for West Ham (and hence us). West Ham are a strong physical side and good at set pieces so should be able to counter anything Luton throw at them and should be able to exploit what is a woeful Luton defence

We've taken a huge step towards safety but I don't think this is done and dusted by any means. West Ham look like they've given up and Chelsea are on fire, so it's not fanciful to imagine us losing and Luton winning next weekend. A point back would be hugely welcome.

I think it’s just as likely that Forest will beat Chelsea as Luton winning at West Ham.
I agree that a point (or two) back wouldn’t go amiss.

There's a very good chance that we could be kicking off against Chelsea with safety confirmed.

It's currently 33/1 on Skybet that both Burnley and Luton win. It could still change of course but it would take an extraordinary set of circumstances now for us to be relegated.

And to be honest if we perform against Chelsea like we did against City then we would confirm it anyway.

Cue panic on the forum because Spurs and West Ham get panned away from home by quality teams therefore meaning they will get beaten at home by Burnley and Luton.

Not happening folks, both teams will be out for revenge and respect next weekend against poor teams and they will get exactly that, keeping us up in the process.

Wouldn't be a bad kickback bet for a tenner.

Both winning is irrelevant. Just takes one - if we were to lose ( & get zero points back ) to take it to the final day.

Luton only need a draw to be still in it.
It is just north of evens that we will be safe before kick off next week.
