The glorious demise of Manchester United

The funniest thing about all this is the United fans thinking its going to get better now.
Think it will, albeit briefly - the club is a mess but there will a positive response from his sacking from those players that either didn't like playing for the last guy or couldn't work in his tactical system. I think there were quite a few who thought he was a prick.

I know a lot of talk is about Amorin but I don't know why I feel they'll end up with Zidane.
Zinedine is a bit of a madman, but even he’s not that mad!

In the summer they extend Ten Haag's contract by a year.
Then they publicly stand by him.
Then they sack him with all the compensation for early ending of his contract.
Now they are looking at a manager who has an £8m release clause in his Sporting Lisbon contract.
And they will have to pay him gazillions and offer a long contract.
One day football finances will make sense.
One day... but don't hold your breath.

The BBC website is churning out 'stories' on this. I'm not going to fuel the issue by commenting on there. But the big gesture of moving to Salford in order to make the BBC less London-centric has merely led to us getting more Manchester this, that and the other.
It cracks me up when everyone harps on about London bias in football. It's plain to see that Manchester and Liverpool get massively disproportionate coverage.

I am shocked Man United have never gone all in for Zidane, he is perfect for a club like that simply due to his aura & his ability to manage a dressing room.

Although I doubt he is that interested in managing them, just in my mind he would be perfect.

£8m for him, £4m for his staff in compo to Lisbon. Ten Haag's severance pay. Its getting quite expensive at Old Trafford.
You can now add to that severance pay for Van Nistelrooij and the other assistants. Which I find really amusing because:
1. They seemed to be doing quite well.
2. Van Nistelrooij was a dirty bastard as a player so can f**k right off.

Not to worry, they'll sack the cleaners and get the taxpayer to foot the bill for their stadium to offset their spending.

Sir Jim's efficiency drive seems to have Tom Lawrence at the wheel.
