No-one else has since 2008. Think this speaks enough by itself.
A while back I might have suggested he was a decent manager who was just held back by the fact he was unhinged, and that certainly at CH level his results speak for themselves, in that given a full season he will make the play offs, but actually every summer he has been here we have spent a fair amount on players - the Fawaz summer was a good example but also the season after we'd stayed up - and that he seems to squeeze everything out of players probably means he's one of those who needs a conveyor belt of players coming through to do anything.
However, there have been plenty of players who had their peak moments under Davies at Forest, McGugan is the obvious one but it applies to quite a lot of that team, and even players like Earnshaw and Blackstock who had been at the top level before joining us never did that again after leaving the club. Even in the 2nd spell he got results out of Cox, Darius Henderson, and played Halford up front which worked as well as an actual striker there.
