Sounds like my sex life?… he is injury prone and can't last 60 mins.

Considering he was out with a groin injury, you might be on to something.Sounds like my sex life?
We need to go for another striker in the summer. Unpopular opinion but I've come to the conclusion that Taiwo is a secondary striker due to the fact he is injury prone and can't last 60 mins. Just to be clear, this isn't knocking his capability to be the No1 striker but we can't continue relying on him due to constant injury and fitness issues.
My take is he's a great #1 but we need more depth. My hope is that the groin issue that has plagued his time with us is finally sorted by the surgery. Can't agree with that - he's been a goal every 160 minutes or so for us. An incredible record. He's nowhere near fully fit though. Might be worth bearing that in mind.I agree and said the same thing at the beginning of February. Oddly enough I was saying that his weakness was he’s technical attributes and that he has the pace/power to make that less of an issue but the reality is that he’s just not quite there on any measure really. At his best he’s good, but when he’s not there he’s quite poor and that seems to be more and more frequent.
If only someone said so.Should have tried to sign Gyorkeres when he was at Coventry
I guess it’s possible that both can be true.I'm just going to leave these here: Awoniyi's PL stats for this season and last.
Yes he has been injury prone with us, but those percentiles tell us just how good a premier league striker he is.
Spoiler: He's a really f***ing good one!

I’d have certainly taken Brereton over Wood last season. If only someone said so.
Unpopular opinion - I'd still take Brereton back.
Let's just hope his issues are solved with that op, and his recover powers are good enough for him to have an impact Saturday.I guess it’s possible that both can be true.
I'd have taken Brereton this winter window.I’d have certainly taken Brereton over Wood last season.
I think that might have been difficult because of financial considerations.I'd have taken Brereton this winter window.
I'd have replaced our top wage earner, who had a move lined up if all is to be believed, with him.I think that might have been difficult because of financial considerations.
Who do you mean?I'd have replaced our top wage earner, who had a move lined up if all is to be believed, with him.
Apparently Origi is on 120k a week. I'd have happily let him go if we could have bought Brereton in - both capable of similar roles too.Who do you mean?
So would I-but would we have paid a transfer fee for Brereton?Apparently Origi is on 120k a week. I'd have happily let him go if we could have bought Brereton in - both capable of similar roles too.
He's on loan, so fee wise we wouldn't. Apparently Villarreal wanted to keep him but no idea if there's an option for Sheff U.So would I-but would we have paid a transfer fee for Brereton?
Anyway,I would rather have signed a top class goalkeeper as a priority (even on loan).
Sheff Utd.Where has Ben gone to? He was headlines after his move, but seen nothing of late.
Hamstring! Perfect for us.Where has Ben gone to? He was headlines after his move, but seen nothing of late.
Scored on his debut I do believe.Sheff Utd.
Blimey!Hamstring! Perfect for us.
I thought Awoniyi looked a lot sharper last night. Some of his shots were typical roll the defenders shoulder and shoot. A couple he miskicked/scuffed.
However, I think he's getting better with each game after his injury. He's certainly got most of his power & pace back.
